Top-Rated Original Movie "National Tree" Helps Network
To Top Five Ranking for the Week
Hallmark Channel's special movie-centric weekday program schedule leading into the four-day Thanksgiving holiday period, highlighted by the premiere of the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "National Tree," drove the network to finish the week among the top five cable networks (1.3 household rating). The strong week included the highest-ever Thanksgiving Day ratings for the network.
Additionally:
- "National Tree" was the highest-rated movie on cable television on Saturday, November 28 (2.3 HH rating; more than 2 million HH and 4 million unduplicated viewers), and ranked among the Top 10 in the time period for HH and demo ratings including #3 in P2+ (1.2) and #4 in W25-54 (1.0). Among other key HH and demo deliveries, the movie ranked in the top 10 including #3 in households (2,003,000); #4 in P2+ (2,737,000) and #7 in W25-54 (498,000).
- For the week (November 23-29), Hallmark Channel increased its ratings by +15% among its key demographic of Women 25-54 versus the same period in 2008.
