BRAVO EARNS BEST OCTOBER EVER IN ALL KEY DEMOS
Bravo Digital On Pace For Best Month Ever And Double Digital Gains
NEW YORK - October 27, 2009 - Bravo posted its highest rated October ever among all key demos, with an average of 487,000 adults 18-49 and 793,000 total viewers in Prime, up six percent and eight percent respectively versus October 2008, according to Nielsen Media Research. For the month of October, Bravo ranked as the No. 14 cable entertainment network among adults 18-49.
Bravo's original series continue to top prior season benchmarks with "Flipping Out" delivering its highest rated season ever averaging 1.22 million total viewers and 912,000 adults 18-49, up eight percent among total viewers and 14 percent in the demo. The second season of "The Rachel Zoe Project" averaged 980,000 total viewers and 715,000 adults 18-49, up 29 percent and up 21 percent in those demographics versus the season one average. Season three of "Million Dollar Listing" is on pace to be the series' highest rated season yet, up 35 percent among adults 18-49 and up 37 percent among total viewers (averaging 922,000 total viewers).
The No. 1 food show on cable, the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning "Top Chef: Las Vegas" is averaging 3.38 million total viewers and 2.36 million adults 18-49 season-to-date. Since the season six premiere of "Top Chef," Bravo ranks No. 1 in cable in the Wednesday 10 p.m. time period among adults 18-49.
The second season of the network's watercooler sensation "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" was the highest rated Real Housewives season ever, averaging 3.19 million total viewers and 2.27 million adults 18-49, up 114 percent and up 101 percent respectively versus season one.
Through 15 episodes, Bravo's first topical series "Watch What Happens Live" is averaging 536,000 adults 18-49 and 771,000 total viewers, improving its time period average 68 percent and 37 percent in those demographics since its premiere. From episode 1 to 15, the series has grown 186 percent among adults 18-49 (vs. 200,000) and 133 percent among total viewers (vs. 334,000).
With its suite of assets including BravoTV.com and TelevisionWithoutPity.com, Bravo Digital is on pace to record its best month ever in unique visitors and its best October ever in video streams, up 23 percent (4.19 million vs. 3.39 million) and 47 percent (5.31 million vs. 3.61 million) respectively versus October 2008.
