BRAVO CELEBRATES HIGHEST RATED SECOND QUARTER EVER AMONG ADULTS 18-49 AND TOTAL VIEWERS
Network Marks Unprecedented 15th Consecutive Quarter Of Year-Over-Year Growth
NEW YORK - June 30, 2009 - Celebrating the network's 15th consecutive quarter of year-over-year growth, Bravo again broke ratings records, marking its highest rated second quarter ever among adults 18-49 and total viewers in primetime, according to Nielsen Media Research. Bravo achieved its second quarter ratings success with the wildly successful freshman series "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," the "Top Chef" spin-off hit "Top Chef Masters," "NYC Prep" and "The Fashion Show," along with returning favorites "The Real Housewives of New York City," "Make Me a Supermodel" and the multiple Emmy award-winning "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List."
With its youngest skewing second quarter ever, the network continued to attract the most upscale (household income $125K+) viewers among adults 18-49 while averaging 445,000 in the demo and 724,000 total viewers. Bravo also earned its highest rated June in network history among adults 18-49 (505,000) and total viewers (803,000) and currently ranks No. 19 on the dial among all ad supported cable entertainment networks.
Bravo Digital turned in its best second quarter ever, marking an impressive 99 percent increase in video hits, 29 percent increase in unique visitors and a 20 percent increase in page views versus 2Q08. Total video streams marked an all-time high with 12.72 million (vs. 6.54 million), garnered 3.81 million average monthly uniques (vs. 2.95 million) and 324 million total page views for the quarter (vs. 273 million in 2Q08).
BravoTV.com also earned remarkable numbers, with 174 million total page views, 2.53 million average monthly uniques and 12.33 million total video streams. TelevisionWithoutPity.com posted increases vs. 2Q08, with 150 million total page views, and double digit percentage gains in uniques (up 26 percent to 1.36 million average monthly uniques).
Bravo's original programming continues to make headlines as "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" became the most watched 'Housewives' franchise to date, averaging 2.48 million total viewers and 1.84 million adults that culminated with the explosive record setting finale (4.6 million cumed total viewers and 3.25 million cumed adults 18-49). The series premiere of "NYC Prep" delivered 815,000 adults 18-49 and 1.23 million total viewers, and through two episodes, "Top Chef Masters" is averaging 963,000 adults 18-49 and 1.47 million total viewers.
