CBS PLACES FIRST IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS FROM 9:00-11:00 PM
"CSI: NY" Sweeps Time Period with Across-the-Board Increases From Last Original Episode
CBS placed first in viewers and key demographics among the three networks broadcasting from 9:00-11:00 PM, according to Nielsen preliminary ratings for Wednesday, April 29.
Editors Note: CBS, NBC and ABC broadcast the Presidential news conference from 8:00-9:00 PM. Ratings for the news conference are sustained and not included in the nightly average for these networks.
At 9:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (8.4/13) and viewers (13.27m) and averaged 4.2/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.3/08 in adults 18-49.
At 10:00 PM, CSI: NY was first in households (8.1/14), viewers (12.47m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 15, 2009), CSI: NY was up +4% in households (from 7.8/13), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.8/10), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +330,000 viewers (from 12.14m, +3%).
Of the three networks broadcasting 9:00-11:00 PM, CBS was first in households (8.2/13), viewers (12.87m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/08).
