CBS's WEDNESDAY COMEDIES HIT SEASON HIGH RATINGS IN ALL KEY MEASURES
"The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried" Both Post +9% Increases in Adults 18-49 From Last Week
"Criminal Minds" and "CSI: NY" Win Time Periods in Viewers Opposite "The World Series"
CBS's Wednesday comedies-THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE and GARY UNMARRIED-both hit season high ratings in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 22.
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was second behind FOX's World Series coverage in households (5.3/09), viewers (8.01m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07), all season highs. Compared to last week, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +4% in households (from 5.1/08), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/08), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/06) and added +400,000 viewers (from 7.61m, +5%).
GARY UNMARRIED was second in households (5.2/08), viewers (7.85m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07), all series highs. Compared to last week, GARY UNMARRIED was up +4% in households (from 5.0/08), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/07), +9% adults 18-49 (from 2.3/06) while adding +320,000 viewers (from 7.53m, +4%). GARY UNMARRIED built on its NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE lead-in by +3% in adults 25-54 and +4% in adults 18-49.
CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (9.3/14), viewers (14.71m), adults 25-54 (5.3/12) and was second behind FOX's World Series coverage in adults 18-49 (4.0/10).
CSI: NY won its time slot in households (9.2/15), viewers (14.24m) and was second behind FOX's World Series coverage in adults 25-54 (5.2/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/10).
