CBS Wins All Three Hours in Viewers
"NCIS" Delivers its Highest Adult 18-49 Rating In Nearly a Year and is the Night's Top Program with Nearly 18 Million Viewers
Freshman Hit "The Mentalist" Places First in its Time Period with Approximately
15 Million Viewers
CBS won Tuesday in viewers for the fourth consecutive week as the Network's three dramas-NCIS, THE MENTALIST and WITHOUT A TRACE-all won their time periods, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 14.
NCIS won its time period in households (11.2/17), viewers (17.86m), finished second in adults 25-54 (5.1/13) and adults 18-49 (3.8/13). Compared to last week's episode, NCIS was up +11% in households (from 10.1/15), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 5.0/12), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/10) and added +1.57m viewers (from 16.29m, +10%). This is NCIS's best delivery in adults 18-49 since Nov. 6, 2007.
Freshman hit THE MENTALIST was first in viewers (14.86m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11), tied for first in households (9.4/14, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (3.4/08). THE MENTALIST has finished first in its time slot in adults 25-54 for two consecutive broadcasts.
WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (10.99m), second in adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07).
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.3/15), viewers (14.57m), second in adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and averaged a 3.2/09 in adults 18-49. CBS has won all four Tuesdays this season in viewers.
