CBS CAPS WINNING WEEK WITH SUNDAY VICTORY IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

Week 2 of Season: Network Wins 5 of 7 Nights in Viewers; Four Nights in Key Demos

CBS Projected to Win the Second Week of the Season in Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49

CBS placed first on Sunday in viewers and adults 25-54, capping a successful rating week that saw the Network win five nights in viewers and four nights in key demographics, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 5.

CBS is projected to win the second week of the season in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

During the second week of the season, CBS won Monday in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, Tuesday in viewers, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in all key measures and Sunday in viewers.

On Sunday:

At 7:30 PM, 60 MINUTES was first in households (10.3/17), viewers (16.43m), adults 25-54 (5.4/13) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11). Compared to last week's season premiere, 60 MINUTES was up +29% in households (from 8.0/14), +86% in both adults 25-54 (from 2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07) and added +3.84m viewers (from 12.59m, +30%).

THE AMAZING RACE (6.6/10, 10.78m) averaged a 4.1/09 in adults 25-54 3.2/08 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week's season premiere, THE AMAZING RACE was up +10% in households (from 6.0/09), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/09), even in adults 18-49 and added +740,000 viewers (from 10.04m, +7%).

COLD CASE (7.0/11, 11.04m) averaged a 3.7/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.9/07 in adults 18-49, (up +7% from last week).

THE UNIT (5.9/11, 9.16m) averaged a 3.2/09 in adults 25-54 and 2.7/08 in adults 18-49 (up +4% from last week).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.4/13), viewers (13.49m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.7/11, with ABC) and averaged a 3.8/09 in adults 18-49.
