Ooh La La!!!! Lifetime Original Movie 'Coco Chanel' Fashions 5.2 Million Viewers and 4.5 Household Rating During September 13 Premiere

LIFETIME'S 'THE MEMORY KEEPER'S DAUGHTER'
NEW YORK, Sept. 15 -- The Lifetime Original Movie "Coco
Chanel" sewed up 5.2 million total viewers, 1.5 million W25-54 and 1.3
million W18-49 during its Saturday, September 13, premiere at 8PM (ET/PT).
"Coco" also averaged a 4.5 household rating.
This stellar performance made the movie, which starred Oscar-winner
Shirley MacLaine, basic cable's #2 rated original film of the year behind
Lifetime's 2008 Emmy nominee "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" in HHs, W18-49,
W25-54, W18+ and P2, + in both ratings and delivery. "The Memory Keeper's
Daughter" scored 5.8 million viewers.
The "Coco Chanel" encore at 11PM (ET/PT) delivered 2.2 million total
viewers.
The next Lifetime Original Movie will be "Living Proof," starring Harry
Connick Jr., premiering Saturday, October 18, at 9PM (ET/PT).
"Coco Chanel" was the story of the celebrated, strong-willed haute
couture giant who faced life with an unparalleled sense of style and
panache. In addition to MacLaine, the movie also starred Golden Globe(R)
nominee Malcolm McDowell as Marc Bouchier, Chanel's confidante and business
associate. Barbora Bobulova portrayed the pioneering couturier in her early
days of love and loss.
"Coco Chanel" was a Lux Vide SpA, Pampa Productions and Alchemy
Television Group Production, in association with RAI, France 2 and Lifetime
Networks. Carrie Stein ("White Nights"), Matilde Bernabei ("War and Peace")
and Simon Vaughan ("Wallis & Edward") served as executive producers. Luca
Bernabei ("Pope John Paul II") served as the producer and Andrea Asimow
("The Heartbreak Kid") was associate producer. Christian Duguay ("Human
Trafficking," "Hitler: The Rise of Evil" and "Joan of Arc") directed from a
script written by Enrico Medioli ("Once Upon a Time in America").
