BRAVO MARKS HIGHEST RATED AUGUST IN NETWORK HISTORY WITH DOUBLE DIGIT INCREASES IN ALL KEY DEMOS
Bravo Remains The #1 Most Upscale, Educated And Highly-Engaged Cable Network Among Adults 18-49 In Primetime
NEW YORK � September 3, 2008 � Continuing its record-breaking year of month-to-month gains, Bravo posted its highest rated August in network history, marking a 29 percent and 21 percent increase versus August 2007 among adults 18-49 and total viewers respectively, according to Nielsen Media Research. On pace to score its highest third quarter ever in all key demos, and to mark 12 consecutive quarters of year-over-year growth, Bravo averaged an impressive 476,000 adults 18-49 and 802,000 total viewers in August. Quater-to-date, the network currently ranks as the No. 18 ad supported cable entertainment network among adults 18-49, and among women 18-49, it ranks No. 10 � the fastest growing top 20 ad supported cable entertainment network in the demo in primetime. Bravo retains the title as the No. 1 most upscale, engaged and educated cable network among adults18-49 in primetime.
In August, Bravo's original programming saw a ratings surge, with the second season of "Shear Genius" scoring 1.271 million adults 18-49 and 2.008 million total viewers, up 74 percent and 84 percent versus season one. Season-to-date, "Project Runway" is averaging 2.401 million adults18-49 and 3.659 million total viewers, and consistently ranks as the No. 1 cable entertainment telecast on Wednesday nights. Bravo's real estate docu-series "Million Dollar Listing" scored series and season highs in all key demos, up 83 percent (555,000 vs. 304,000) in adults 18-49 and 79 percent (827,000 vs. 462,000) in total viewers versus last season. Through two episodes, Bravo's newest docu-series "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" recorded an average of 559,000 adults18-49 and 923,000 total viewers respectively.
Bravo Digital posted a record August with year-over-year increases in page views, monthly uniques and video streams, up 14 percent (88.91 million vs. 78.13 million), 16 percent (2.73 million vs. 2.34 million) and 40 percent (2.03 million vs. 1.45million) respectively. BravoTV.com recorded impressive year-over-year numbers in August as well, with a 73 percent increase in page views (55.93 million vs. 32.35 million), a 41 percent increase in monthly uniques (1.97 million vs. 1.4 million) and a 38 percent increase in video streams (1.88 million vs. 1.37 million).
