"CRIMINAL MINDS" AND "CSI: NY" POST BEST ADULT 18-49 DELIVERIES SINCE RETURNING WITH FIRST RUN EPISODES
In Adults 18-49, "Criminal Minds" Up +6% and "CSI: NY" Up +16% Versus Last Week
CRIMINAL MINDS and CSI: NY delivered their best adult 18-49 ratings since returning with first-run episodes, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, April 16.
CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (8.2/13), viewers (12.85m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09) - all behind "American Idol". Compared to last week, CRIMINAL MINDS was up +5% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/10) and +6% in adults 18-49 (3.3/08). This is CRIMINAL MINDS' best deliveries in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since returning with original episodes.
CSI: NY was first households (8.6/14), viewers (13.35m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10). Compared to last week, CSI: NY was up +8% in households (from 8.0/13), +9% in adults 25-54 (from 4.3/11), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/08) and added +970,000 viewers (from 12.38m, +8%). This is CSI: NY's best delivery in viewers and adults 18-49 and matched the best adults 25-54 performance since returning with original episodes.
CSI: NY beat "Law & Order" (R) and "Men in Trees" combined in by +4% in adults 25-54 (vs. 4.5/12 combined) and +9% in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.4/09 combined).
Meanwhile, BIG BROTHER 9 WEDNESDAY (4.1/07, 6.14m) delivered its largest audience since March 29.
For the night, CBS was second in households (6.9/11), viewers (10.78m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).
