SCI FI SCORES YEAR-TO-YEAR GAINS AMONG YOUNGER AND FEMALE VIEWERS
'Ghost Hunters International' Premieres As #1 Reality Series Telecast in SCI FI History
SCI FI Channel is kicking off 2008 with ratings increases among younger and female viewers. The Channel has generated year-to-year gains in key demographics with a 17% increase among Adults 18�34, a 10% increase among Adults 18�49, and a 2% increase with Adults 25�54. Female viewers also flocked to SCI FI during the month of January, showing increases of 21% among Females 18-49 and 5% among Females 25-54.
Cementing the immensely popular Ghost Hunters as the #1 paranormal franchise in cable, SCI FI 's spin-off series Ghost Hunters International debuted as the #1 reality series telecast in SCI FI history. The premiere delivered a 2.04 household rating and 2,898,000 million total viewers with 1,865,000 representing Adults 18-49 and 1,820,000 representing Adults 25-54. This is the best performance ever for any reality series telecast in SCI FI's history in both Adults18-49 and 25-54.
