Tuesday
"Just for Laughs � TU 8PM" (8:00-8:30 p.m.)
At 8 p.m., "Just for Laughs" placed second in its half-hour to NBC's "America's Got Talent" among Adults 18-49 (2.3/8), while ranking No. 1 in the time period among Women 18-49 (2.9/10 � tied) and Kids 2-11 (1.2/5 � tied).
"Just for Laughs" (8:30-9:00 p.m.)
A second telecast of "Just for Laughs" built on its lead-in by 13% in Total Viewers (7.9 million vs. 7.0 million) and by 17% in Adults 18-49 (2.7/9 vs. 2.3/8), taking second in its half-hour in the key adult demographic.
� In its second telecast in the 8:30 p.m. time period, "Just for Laughs" was up week to week in Men 18-34 (1.6/7 vs. 1.5/6, +7%) and Teens 12-17 (1.4/6 vs. 1.3/6, +8%).
"Primetime: Family Secrets" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
ABC News' "Primetime: Family Secrets," with a rare look at teen pregnancy and adoption, was No. 1 in the final hour of prime across each of the key women demographics: Women 18-34 (2.1/7 � tied), Women 18-49 (2.6/8) and Women 25-54 (2.9/8 � tied).
Wednesday
ABC's Wednesday night lineup, which included the season finale of "The Next Best Thing" and a 2-hour episode of "American Inventor," turned in the Net's strongest numbers on the night in Total Viewers (6.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.0/6 - tied) in 7 weeks � since 6/6/07.
"The Next Best Thing" (Wednesday 8:00-9:00 p.m.)
The season finale of ABC's "The Next Best Thing" took second in the hour with 7.1 million viewers and a 2.0 rating, 7 share in Adults 18-49, drawing the unscripted program's largest audience in 4 weeks � since 6/27/07. Trent Carlini as "Heartbreak Elvis" from Las Vegas, Nevada won the title of "the Next Best Thing" and the $100,000 grand prize.
� During the course of its 9-week run, "The Next Best Thing" improved ABC's performance in the hour over the same nights last year 5/31 � 7/26/06) by 3.3 million viewers (7.1 million vs. 3.8 million) and by 69% in Adults 18-49 (2.2/8 vs. 1.3/4).
"American Inventor" (9:00-11:00 p.m.)
A 2-hour telecast of ABC's "American Inventor" turned in the Network's best numbers in Total Viewers (6.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.0/6) in the 2-hour time period in 7 weeks � since 6/6/07.
Friday
"20/20" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
In the 10 o'clock hour, ABC News' "20/20," with a look at the science and spirit of giants and dwarfs, won its time-slot and qualified as the No. 1 program of the night in Total Viewers (5.9 million), Adults 18-49 (2.1/7) and Adults 25-54 (2.3/7).
� "20/20" posted its best Adults 18-49 rating of the summer and ranked No. 1 in its hour in the young adult demo for the 6th consecutive week.
Saturday
ABC's lineup of "The Wonderful World of Disney: The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement" and a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" took second on the evening in Adults 18-49 (1.3/5). The Network took the top spot on Saturday night for the second consecutive week across each of the key women demographics [Women 18-34 (1.5/7), Women 18-49 (1.8/7) and Women 25-54 (1.9/7)], Teens 12-17 (1.4/7) and Kids 2-11 (1.4/7).
Sunday
"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m.)
An encore telecast of ABC's "America's Funniest Home Videos" won the 7 o'clock hour of Sunday's prime among Adults 18-49 (1.6/6) for the fourth consecutive airing on the night.
