TNT's Season 3 Premiere of THE CLOSER is BEST OF ALL TIME
With more than 8.8 million viewers and 6.3 million households, TNT's THE CLOSER once again broke its own record by scoring ad-supported cable's best delivery of all time for a series telecast.
Last night's third-season premiere averaged 8,812,000 persons 2+ and 6,376,000 households, beating the same records THE CLOSER set with its season 2 premiere last year.
This year's premiere as 6% higher among persons 2+ vs. last year's 8,278,000 delivery and 6% higher among households vs. last year's 6,039,000 delivery.
THE CLOSER also showed growth when compared to last year's season 2 premiere among adults 18-49 (2,909,000; +11% vs. last year's 2,630,000 delivery) and among adults 25-54 (3,799,000; +6% vs. last year's 3,571,000 delivery).
Overall, THE CLOSER's season 3 premiere scored an extremely strong 6.8 household coverage rating/5.7 national rating.
