NBC RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 2-8

BURBANK, Calif. � April 10, 2007 � NBC averaged a 2.2 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 7.1 million viewers overall for the week of April 2-8, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Averages for the week of April 2-8 in adults 18-49 were Fox (3.8/11), CBS (3.2/9), ABC (3.0/9), NBC (2.2/6), Univision (1.5/4), CW (1.0/3) and Telemundo (0.4/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (11.5 million), Fox (9.7 million), ABC (9.3 million), NBC (7.1 million), Univision (3.5 million), CW (2.6 million) and Telemundo (0.9 million).

In regular program averages through the first 29 weeks of the 2006-07 season, NBC is running even with last year's average in adult 18-49 rating (3.3 vs. 3.3). NBC and Fox (which is also even vs. last year in regular program averages with a 4.1) are the only major networks that are matching their year-ago regular-program averages. By that measure, CBS is down 8 percent (from a 3.9 to a 3.6) and ABC is down 10 percent (from a 4.0 to a 3.6).

NBC highlights for the week of April 2-8:

* On Tuesday, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" won its time period in adults 18-49, 18-34, 25-54 and total viewers.

* Also on Tuesday, "Law & Order; Criminal Intent" built on its lead-in by 21 percent in 18-49 and 23 percent in overall viewers in a tough time period opposite Fox's "House" and ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show.

* On Wednesday, "Medium" was up 13 percent in the demo versus the prior week, summoning its best results since March 7, while "Crossing Jordan" found its highest demo rating in three weeks and its highest overall viewership in four weeks.

* On Thursday, an extended edition of "The Office" ranked #1 in adults 18-34 in a crowded time period opposite such competition as CBS' "Survivor," Fox's "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" and ABC's "Ugly Betty" encore.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of April 2-8:

On Monday, April 2, from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Deal or No Deal" (3.2 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 11.5 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in adults 25-54, total viewers and other key demographics. At 9 p.m., an encore "Deal or No Deal" (3.4/8 in 18-49, 10.9 million viewers overall) built by 7 percent in 18-49 rating versus it lead-in from the previous hour. From 10-11 p.m. ET, "The Black Donnellys" averaged a 2.0/5 in 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers overall.

On Tuesday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) was up 27 percent in 18-49 and 35 percent in total viewers versus NBC's performance in this time period on the same night last year. At 9 p.m., ET "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2.3/6 in 18-49, 7.1 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 21 percent in 18-49 and by 23 percent in total viewers in a highly competitive hour that included Fox's "House" and ABC's "Dancing" results show.

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (3.9/11 in 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall) won its time period in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.

On Wednesday, April 4 at 8 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) grew by 18 percent in 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its second. At 9 p.m., "Crossing Jordan" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall) delivered its highest 18-49 rating in three weeks and its highest overall viewership in four weeks. At 10 p.m., "Medium" (2.7/7 in 18-49, 8.4 million viewers overall) was up 13 percent in 18-49 rating and 10 percent in total viewers versus the prior week, scoring its best numbers by both measures since March 7.

On Thursday, April 5, from 8-8:43 p.m., a special extended edition of "The Office" (3.2/10 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall) was #1 in adults 18-34 in a crowded time period opposite CBS' "Survivor," "Fox's "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" and ABC's "Ugly Betty" encore.

Thursday from 8:43-9:23 p.m., "30 Rock" averaged a 2.5/7 in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall. From 9:23-10 p.m., "Scrubs" delivered a 2.4/7 in 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall. From 10-10:29 p.m., "Andy Barker, P.I." averaged a 1.7/5 in 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers overall. And from 10-29-11 p.m., an encore telecast of "My Name is Earl" delivered a 1.6/5 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall.

On Friday, April 6 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Identity" (1.6/6 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall) increased by 13 percent in 18-49 rating from its first to its second half-hour. At 9 p.m., "Raines" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall) built by 6 percent in 18-49 rating and 10 percent in overall viewers versus its lead-in from the previous hour. At 10 p.m., "Law & Order" (2.3/7 in 18-49, 8.2 million viewers overall) increased by 35 percent in 18-49 rating and 23 percent in total viewers versus its lead-in from the previous hour to rank #2 in 18-49, total viewers and virtually all key ratings measures.

On Saturday, April 7 at 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., an encore "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 31 percent in 18-49 rating.

On Sunday, April 1 from 7-9 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.5/5 in 18-49 and 6.4 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" increased its 18-49 rating by 64 percent (to a 1.8/5 from a 1.1/4) and its overall viewership by 66 percent (to 8.002 million from 4.833 million).

At 9 p.m. ET Sunday, "Deal or No Deal" (2.8/7 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 56 percent in 18-49 rating (2.8 from a 1.8). "Deal" ranked #2 among adults 18-49. At 10 p.m., "The Apprentice" (2.6/7 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) was up 13 percent in 18-49 rating (2.6/7 vs. 2.3/6) and 10 percent in total viewers (6.6 million vs. 6.0 million) versus the prior week.
