CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 with regular series strength on nearly every night of the week, capped off by the best performance by THE GRAMMY AWARDS since 2004, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 11, week 21 of the 2006-2007 television season.

CBS's win was led by the best performance by THE GRAMMY AWARDS since 2004 and solid performances by its entire Monday lineup, including the premiere of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, NCIS, THE UNIT, CRIMINAL MINDS, CSI: NY, the premiere of SURVIVOR: FIJI, CSI, SHARK, GHOST WHISPERER and NUMB3RS.

For the week in viewers, CBS (13.99m) topped FOX (11.85m), ABC (10.13m) and NBC (8.83m). Season-to-date in viewers, CBS (13.15m) is first, ahead of ABC (10.00m), NBC (9.72m) and FOX (9.30m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and second in adults 18-49 (4.5/12). Season-to-date, CBS is in sole possession of first place in both adults 18-49 (4.0/11) and adults 25-54 (5.0/12).

For the week in households, CBS (8.8/14) was +26% ahead of FOX (7.0/11), +38% ahead of ABC (6.4/10) and +54% ahead of NBC (5.7/09). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.3/13), ahead of ABC by +30% (6.4/10), NBC by +32% (6.3/10) and FOX by +43% (5.8/09).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

--CBS was first Monday in households (9.6/14), viewers (14.92m), adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (5.0/12). CBS posted Monday season highs in households, viewers and adults 18-49, matched season highs (September 18th) in adults 25-54.

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (6.7/10), viewers (10.61m) and adults 25-54 (4.6/11). These are season highs in households, viewers, adults 18-34 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49.

? THE CLASS scored its best delivery in households (6.1/09) and viewers (9.54m) since the season premiere on September 18th and best adults 25-54 (4.2/09) and adults 18-49 (3.5/08) performances since October 9, 2006.

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (11.2/16), viewers (17.68m), adults 25-54 (7.1/15) and second in adults 18-49 (5.8/13) -- all season highs.

? RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (P) premiered in first place in households (9.7/14), viewers (14.84m), second in adults 25-54 (6.3/13) and adults 18-49 (5.2/12). This is CBS's best delivery in this time period this season. This is CBS's best delivery in households, viewers and adults 25-54 with a regularly scheduled program since March 20, 2006 (THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE) and in adults 18-49 since May 15, 2005 (TWO AND A HALF MEN).

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (11.9/19), viewers (18.43m), adults 25-54 (7.3/17) and adults 18-49 (5.8/15).

? NCIS was second in households (10.2/15), viewers (16.16m), adults 25-54 (5.3/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/09). This is NCIS's best delivery in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 12/12/06. NCIS retained all of its first run season-to-date audience (16.20m), 95% among adults 18-49 (from 4.0/11) and 96% among adults 25-54 (from 5.5/13) with "American Idol" as competition.

? THE UNIT was second in households (7.8/12), viewers (12.41m), adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09). This is THE UNIT's best delivery in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 12/12/06.

? CRIMINAL MINDS (9:00-10:00PM) was second behind FOX's "American Idol" in households (10.5/15), viewers (16.27m), adults 25-54 (6.2/13) and adults 18-49 (4.7/11). This is CRIMINAL MINDS's best performance against "American Idol" in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

-- In its first regularly scheduled broadcast since its post-Super Bowl airing on Sunday, CRIMINAL MINDS posted significant increases over its last first-run episode. Compared to its last first-run broadcast, also opposite "American Idol", CRIMINAL MINDS was up +25% in viewers (from 13.07m), +42% in adults 18-49 (from 3.3/07) and +32% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/10). Last season, "Grey's Anatomy" saw a +36% adults 18-49 post-Super Bowl bounce.

? CSI: NY was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (14.97m), second behind the time period premiere of "Lost" in adults 25-54 (5.7/13), adults 18-49 (4.5/11) and adults 18-34 (3.3/08). CSI: NY topped "Lost" by almost half-a-million viewers (vs. 14.49m).

? SURVIVOR: FIJI (P) was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (16.44m), adults 25-54 (6.9/16) and adults 18-49 (5.7/15). SURVIVOR posted its best Thursday viewer delivery and highest ratings in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Sept. 28.

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION placed second in households (13.8/20), viewers (22.52m), adults 25-54 (9.0/19), adults 18-49 (6.9/16) and adults 18-34 (4.7/12).

? SHARK was first in households (9.3/15), viewers (14.53m), second in adults 25-54 (5.4/13, -0.1 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11). This is SHARK's fourth consecutive victory in viewers.

? GHOST WHISPERER won its time period in households (7.1/12), viewers (11.16m), adults 25-54 (4.7/14) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11). This is GHOST WHIPSERER's best households and adults 18-49 delivery since November 10, 2006, best adults 25-54 delivery since November 3, 2006 and best delivery in viewers since January 5, 2007.

? NUMB3RS was first in households (7.3/13), viewers (11.23m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and adults 18-49 (3.3/10). This is NUMB3RS best adults 18-49 delivery since October 20, 2006.

? THE 49th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS (S) (8:00-11:30PM) posted a 12.1/19 in households with 20.06m viewers, 9.2/20 in adults 25-54, 8.3/20 in adults 18-49 and 7.6/19 in adults 18-34. From 8:00-11:00PM, CBS was first in households, viewers and key demos. This is the GRAMMY AWARDS best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 2004.

Compared to last year's ceremony (Wednesday, 2/8/06), this year's broadcast was up +11% in households (from 10.9/17), +17% in both adults 18-34 (from 6.5/18) and adults 18-49 (from 7.1/18), +18% in adults 25-54 (from 7.8/18) and added +3.06m viewers (from 17.00, +18%). Compared to 2005's GRAMMYS (the last time the program was on a Sunday), this year's ceremony was up +4% in households (from 11.6/18), +2% in adults 18-49 (from 8.1/19), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 8.3/18) and added +1.26m viewers (from 18.80, +7%).
