"One Tree Hill" Benefits from "Top Model" Crossover With Best Women 18-34 Retention of the Season
November 16, 2006 (Burbank, CA) -- The CW's "America's Next Top Model" ranked second in the 8-9:00PM hour among adults 18-34 (2.6/8-tie) and women 18-34 (3.6/10-tie), behind the finale of "Dancing with the Stars," according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 15.
"One Tree Hill" benefited from a crossover with "Top Model," (the model who won an acting challenge in "Top Model" at 8PM, appeared in "One Tree Hill" at 9PM), as the drama scored its best women 18-34 (2.7/7) retention of the season (75%).
The CW's Wednesday marks an improvement over The WB a year ago (11/16/05), up 38% in adults 18-34 (2.2/6), 33% in women 18-34 (3.2/9), 31% in adults 18-49 (1.7/4), 33% in women 18-49 (2.4/6) and 48% in viewers (4.0mil).
