ABCs The Nine Takes Second to CBS Time Period Veteran C.S.I.: NY at 10pm

Wednesday Night (8:00-11:00 p.m.)

ABC turned in its second straight Wednesday night victory in Adults 18-49 (4.8/13) and Adults 18-34 (3.6/11).

Dancing with the Stars the Results Show (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Building its Total Viewer and Adult 18-49 numbers for the third straight week, Dancing with the Stars the Results Show ranked No. 1 during Wednesday's 8 o'clock hour for the fifth week in a row. Singer Willa Ford was the next celebrity dancer to be eliminated from the contest. In the hour, DWTS the Results Show overshadowed second-place CBS' Jericho by 7.2 million viewers (18.1 million vs. 10.9 million) and by 44% in Adults 18-49 (4.6/13 vs. 3.2/9). Of note, NBCs series debuts of 30 Rock and 20 Good Years placed a distant third in Nielsen measures (7.6 million & 2.7/8), losing viewers and young adults throughout the hour. ABCs DWTS the Results Show stood as Wednesdays most-watched television program.

ABCs Dancing results show delivered a series high in viewers and young adults, once again generating the Networks largest non-sports audience in the time period since May 2005 and its top Adult 18-49 number since January 2006 since 5/25/05 and 1/11/06, respectively.

Lost (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

The No. 1 TV program of the night in Adults 18-49 for the second week in a row, ABC's Lost won the 9 oclock hour in Total Viewers (16.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (6.7/17). Among Adults 18-49, Lost (6.7/17) beat out second-place CBS Criminal Minds by 52% (4.4/11) and third-place NBCs Biggest Loser by 123% (3.0/8).

Lost qualified as Wednesdays No. 1 TV program across the key adult demos (AD18-34 5.6/16, AD18-49 6.7/17 and AD25-54 7.4/17) and among Teens 12-17 (4.2/14).

Compared to where it ended last season, Lost was up in viewers and young adults (2006 May Sweep = 15.7 million viewers & 6.6/15 in Adults 18-49). In fact, excepting last weeks season opener and the season finale in May, Lost attracted its largest audience since February and its second-highest Adult 18-49 number since April since 2/15/06 and 4/5/06, respectively.

The Nine (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

ABC's The Nine took second place during the 10 oclock hour to CBS time period veteran C.S.I.: NY among Total Viewers (8.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.2/9).
