CBS placed first on Wednesday in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the second consecutive week as all three of the Network's dramas posted increases in adults 18-49 over its premiere week ratings, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sept. 27.
The second episode of JERICHO was second in households (7.4/12), viewers (11.38m), adults 25-54 (4.8/13, -0.2 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (3.6/11). This is the best regularly scheduled delivery in the time period in adults 18-49 since March 12, 2003 ("Star Search") and best since January 22, 2003 in adults 25-54 ("Star Search").
Compared to the series premiere last week, JERICHO was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/12), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/10) and retained 98% of the premiere's viewer delivery.
Last night's episode of JERICHO will be rebroadcast on Saturday, Sept. 30 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).
CRIMINAL MINDS won its 9PM time period in households (10.7/17), viewers (16.46m), adults 25-54 (6.3/15) and adults 18-49 (4.8/13). This is the best delivery for a first run regularly scheduled episode of CRIMINAL MINDS in households, viewers and adults 25-54 and matches the best adults 18-49 delivery to date.
At 10PM, CSI: NY was first in households (10.4/17), viewers (16.08m), adults 25-54 (6.4/16) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (5.1/14, with ABC). CSI: NY beat NBC's "Kidnapped" by +136% in households (vs. 4.4/07), +146% in adults 25-54 (vs. 2.6/06), +143% in adults 18-49 (vs. 2.1/06) and by +9.76m viewers (vs. 6.32m, +154%).
CSI: NY also topped ABC's "20/20" special which featured a Barbara Walters interview with the widow of Steve Irwin in viewers, adults 25-54 and tied in adults 18-49.
Compared to last week's premiere, CSI: NY was up +2% in adults 18-49 (from 5.0/14) and even in adults 25-54.
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (14.64m, +1% from last week), adults 25-54 (5.8/14, +2% from last week) and adults 18-49 (4.5/13, +5% from last week).
