NEW YORK, January 31, 2006 -- Oxygen hit yet another ratings milestone for the month of January, achieving its highest rated month ever in Total Day with Households and its target audience of Women 18-49 and Women 18-34. In Primetime, January 2006 was the highest rated month ever among Women 18-34 and tied for highest rated month among Households. Oxygen has also already surpassed its record ratings for the first week of January by having its highest rated week ever (week of Jan. 23) in Total Day among Households and tied for Women 18-49 with the week of Jan. 2, 2006.
January 2006 is also Oxygen�s most watched month ever among Households, Total Viewers, and Women 18-34 in both Total Day and Primetime. Among all key women demos (W18-49, W18-34, W2+ and W18+) January 2006 is Oxygen�s most watched month ever in Total Day.
Increases were driven by the network�s Totally Assertive Female programming, movies in primetime, and the premiere of the original comedy series Campus Ladies, Oxygen�s highest rated original series premiere to-date among Women 18-49 and Households. Additionally, the ratings for the Sunday, January 29 episodes of Campus Ladies were the network�s highest to-date among Women 18-49.
