Hallmark Channel Celebrates Best-Ever Month in November

HALLMARK CHANNEL CELEBRATES BEST-EVER MONTH IN NOVEMBER

Original Movie Premiere of �The Reading Room� is Highest-Rated Cable Movie on Saturday, November 26

Hallmark Channel announced today that November 2005 marks the network�s best-ever month among Total Day households, and highest-ever November (Total Day and Prime Time) among households Adults and Women 18-49 and 25-54. The channel�s Original Movie premiere, �The Reading Room,� on Saturday, November 26 at 9 pm ET/PT, was the highest-rated ad-supported cable movie of the day. This premiere, along with programming that aired throughout the holiday weekend, helped lead the network to achieve this ratings success.

For the month of November, Hallmark Channel ranked among the Top 10 in both Total Day (.7 rating) and Prime Time (1.1 rating) household ratings, among the 59 ad-supported networks. This marks a +17% and +22% increase in Total Day and Prime Time ratings, respectively, over November 2004. In Total Day, the channel delivered an all time high of 516,000 homes, a +26% increase year-to-year.

The premiere of �The Reading Room� garnered a 2.2 HH rating with 1.54 million households and 2.9 million unduplicated viewers P2+, making this premiere the highest-rated cable movie of the day, among all ad-supported cable. The airing was also the 6th most-watched telecast in Hallmark Channel�s history, and ranked among the Top 5 in the time period for HH and key demo ratings and among the Top 10 in the time period for HH and key demo delivery.

In addition to achieving its best-ever month in November, Hallmark Channel also delivered its highest week, day and weekend in the month. The week of 11/21/05- 11/27/05 averaged a .8 HH rating to become the highest-ever week in the network�s history. On Sunday, November 27, Hallmark Channel averaged a 1.3 HH rating, making it the highest-ever day for the channel; and the weekend of November 26-27 averaged a 1.9 HH rating, making it the highest-ever weekend for the network.
