CBS PLACES FIRST ON MONDAY IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54 OPPOSITE FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL
"Out of Practice" Improves Upon Its Prior Week's Audience and Key Demographics For the Second Consecutive Week
"Two and a Half Men" Also Up Week-to-Week in Viewers and Adults 18-49
"CSI: Miami" Is The Night's Most Watched Program For the Fourth
Consecutive Week
With atypical Monday competition from the American League Division Series on FOX, CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 (tie), according to final Nielsen ratings for Oct. 10.
TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (9.8/14), viewers (15.24m), adults 25-54 (6.3/13) and second in adults 18-49 (5.0/12). Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +5% in both households (from 9.3/14) and adults 25-54 (from 6.0/13) and +4% in adults 18-49 (from 4.8/11).
OUT OF PRACTICE (8.1/12, 12.26m) showed week-to-week growth for the second consecutive Monday, up +3% in households, +5% in viewers and +11% in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 compared to last week's delivery.
CSI: MIAMI was first in households (11.9/18), viewers (18.49m), adults 25-54 (7.5/17) and adults 18-49 (6.2/15). CSI: MIAMI was the top rated program in households and adults 25-54 and Monday's most watched program for the fourth time this season, as well as the Number One entertainment program in adults 18-49 (just -0.1 behind "Monday Night Football").
Earlier in the night, THE KING OF QUEENS averaged a time period winning 6.9/11 with 10.50 million viewers, while HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER averaged a 6.4/09 with 9.84 million viewers.
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.2/14), viewers (14.14) and tied for first in adults 25-54 (5.8/13, with ABC).
