NBC UNIVERSAL TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION'S "MAURY" SCORES SEASON BEST RATINGS

Talker Attracts an Average 4.8 Million Viewers Per Episode; Up 11% over the same week last year

"The Jerry Springer Show" and "Blind Date" Hit Season-High Ratings in Key Women Demos

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- March 8, 2005 -- NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's "Maury" scored its best ratings of the season in total viewers and key demos during the week of February 21, 2005, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

"The Jerry Springer Show" and "Blind Date" scored new season high ratings in key women demos during the last week in February.

"Maury" scored a new season-high in total viewers with an average of 4.8 million viewers per episode which is up 15% from the previous week and up 11% over the same week last year. The series tied its season-high household rating (3.5), up 9% from the previous week and up 6% from the same week last year. "Maury" also tied season best ratings with Women 18-34 (2.7), up 23% over the previous week and up 4% over the same week last year and scored the highest ratings of the season with Women 18-49 (2.4), up 4% over the same week last year and with Women 25-54 (2.4), up 14% over the same week last year.

"The Jerry Springer Show" scored season high ratings in three key demos: Women 18-34 (1.5), up 36% over the previous week, Women 18-49 (1.4), up 17% over the previous week and Women 25-54 (1.5), up 15% over the previous week and up 15% over the same week last year.

In addition, NBC Universal Television Distribution's "Blind Date" tied its season best rating in households (1.4), up 17% over the previous week and scored a new season high rating with Women 25-54 (0.9), up 29% over the previous week and up 13 % over the same week last year.

NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's current first-run syndicated programming includes the upcoming Martha Stewart series, "Access Hollywood," "Starting Over," "The Jane Pauley Show," "The Chris Matthews Show," "Home Delivery," "Blind Date," "The Jerry Springer Show," "Maury," "The George Michael Sports Machine," "Rebecca's Garden," "Your Total Health," "The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo" and the off-network syndication sales of NBC's "Fear Factor," "Providence," "Crossing Jordan," "Boomtown" and "Ed," the "Law & Order" franchise and numerous other NBC Universal Television programs. NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution also distributes the first-run specials "The Remarkable Journey" and "Good Housekeeping Reports" inserts.
