Cartoon Network Rockets to Best-Ever January Ratings, Delivery Performance in Both Prime and Kids� Total Day Across All Target Demos

Climbing ahead in ratings and delivery for the fourth month in a row, Cartoon Network set new January ratings and delivery records across every kids demo it targets, according to Nielsen Media Research. Credit for Cartoon Network�s powerful double-digit growth across the board can be attributed to its signature programming franchises: FRIDAYS (7 p.m.-12 a.m.), an evening-long line-up of all-original series for the entire family; TOONAMI (Saturday, 7-11 p.m.), a Saturday night presentation of high action-adventure programming for tweens 9-14; and MIGUZI (Monday-Friday, 5-7 p.m.), the weekday afternoon branded block of action programming for boys and girls 6-11. January performance highlights vs. the same time periods last year include the following:
Prime Time (Monday-Sunday, 8-11 p.m.)
� Kids 6-11 delivery (739,000) expanded by 37% and ratings (3.1) by 35%.
� Kids 2-11 delivery (1,116,000) improved by 19% and ratings (2.8) by 17%.
� Tweens 9-14 delivery (518,000) increased by 32% and ratings (2.1) by 31%.
Kids� Total Day (Monday-Sunday, 6 a.m. - 6 a.m., kids� programming)
� Kids 6-11 delivery (535,000) raced ahead by 42% and ratings (2.2) by 38%.
� Kids 2-11 delivery (848,000) advanced by 26% and ratings (2.1) by 24%.
� Tweens 9-14 delivery (355,000) surged by 34% and ratings (1.4) by 27%.
FRIDAYS (Friday, 7 p.m.-12 a.m.)
� Kids 6-11 delivery (887,000) and ratings (3.7) both climbed by 37%.
� Kids 2-11 delivery (1,284,000) and ratings (3.2) both rose by 28%.
TOONAMI (Saturday, 7-11 p.m.)
� Tweens 9-14 delivery (622,000) catapulted by 74% and ratings (2.5) by 67%.
� Kids 6-11 delivery (783,000) jumped by 48% and ratings (3.2) by 45%.
MIGUZI (Monday-Friday, 5-7 p.m.�as of 1/24/05: Monday-Sunday, 5-7 p.m.)
� Kids 6-11 delivery (717,000) rose by 44% and ratings (3.0) by 43%.
� Kids 2-11 delivery (1,082,000) lifted by 39% and ratings (2.7) by 38%.
The outstanding monthly performance also capped overall 2004-05 season-to-date (Aug. 30, �04 to Jan. 30, �05) growth for the network�s primary kids 6-11 demo vs. last year. Kids total day delivery grew by 24% and ratings by 25%; prime time delivery increased by 19% and ratings by 16%.
Young adults 18-34 also set a new January total day delivery and ratings record, thanks to the stellar performance of ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday, 11 p.m.-2 a.m.). Highlights vs. the same time period last year include the following:

� Ranked #1 in its time period on basic cable among adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24.
� Adults 18-34 delivery (532,000) increased by 53% and ratings (0.8) by 60%.
� Adults 18-24 delivery (261,000) expanded by 41% and ratings (0.9) by 29%.
