The report indicates Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios "are apparently looking to move in a different creative direction." Adding, their "plan is to hire a whole new writers room for the series that remains an important asset for Prime." GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Sophia Bush has signed on to recur on the series as Cass Beckman, "an amiable, fun and a little messy around the edges trauma surgeon at Seattle Presbyterian whose husband David Beckman is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Grey Sloan." (Deadline.com, 10/16)

"We're so proud of Parish, and thankful for the creative talent involved and the performances they were able to bring to the screen, starting with the remarkable Giancarlo Esposito, Skeet Ulrich and the entire cast," AMC said in a statement. "We are unfortunately unable to proceed with a second season, but Season 1 will remain available on AMC+ to fans who want to relive this thrill-ride-of-a-series and those yet to discover it." (TVLine.com, 10/17)

He'll play Gabriel, "a family friend of Matt (Allen) and Riley (Dennings) who works in the shop with Matt." There's just the small problem of a dead body - which she may have stabbed repeatedly - in her living room. As Lalla navigates getting what she wants despite useless husbands, needy children, private school admissions and the trappings of suburban life, she's unencumbered by pesky things like shame, guilt and morals.
