PARAMOUNT+ ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER 24 PREMIERE DATE FOR "WE WILL DANCE AGAIN," DOCUMENTARY FEATURE ABOUT THE OCTOBER 7TH TERROR ATTACK AT THE NOVA MUSIC FESTIVAL
The See It Now Studios Film Features Interviews with Survivors Recounting their Struggle to Stay Alive with Footage They Filmed On Their Cell Phones
September 5, 2024 - Paramount+ announced today the award-winning film WE WILL DANCE AGAIN, a shocking documentary about the October 7th Hamas terror attack on the international Nova Music Festival, will premiere on the service in the U.S. on Tuesday, September 24. The See It Now Studios Original Documentary won two awards at Doc Edge in June, including Best International Editing and the In Truth We Trust category award.
The Nova Music Festival was supposed to be a celebration of life, love and music for thousands of young people but became one of the first targets when Hamas launched the deadliest terror attack in Israel's history. In WE WILL DANCE AGAIN more than a dozen young festival-goers tell gripping stories of how each of them managed to survive from one minute to the next. Their eyewitness accounts are woven together with footage they filmed themselves and footage recovered from cameras worn by Hamas.
American Hersh Goldberg-Polin's personal struggle to survive is included in the documentary through the stories of friends he went to the festival with, including two people who were in the same bomb shelter with him. Tragically, Hersh was among the six hostages who were recently executed by Hamas before the Israeli army could rescue them.
"The human cost of the Hamas attack in Israel and the war that followed in Gaza has been catastrophic for both Israelis and Palestinians." says Susan Zirinsky, president of See It Now Studios. "It is a painful story of unfathomable tragedy, but also of bravery, sacrifice, and heroism. This film is a document of history, of one of the attacks that began on October 7th at 6:29 in the morning."
WE WILL DANCE AGAIN is directed by Yariv Mozer. His award-winning credits include The Devil's Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes and Ben Gurion: Epilogue, My First War.
WE WILL DANCE AGAIN is a co-production of Susan Zirinsky's See It Now Studios with SIPUR and factual producer Bitachon 365 in collaboration with MGM Television, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, and HSCC. Other co-producers include BBC Storyville, which will broadcast the documentary in the UK, and Hot Channel 8, which will air it in Israel.
