Brand-New Anime Series 'Ranma1/2' Premieres on Netflix on October 5 PT
Get ready for the brand-new anime series Ranma1/2, streaming worldwide on Netflix starting October 5 PT with new episodes every week. The newly released key art and trailer feature the beloved characters and offer a sneak peek into the voice cast.
Ranma1/2, created by renowned manga artist Rumiko Takahashi (Inuyasha, Urusei Yatsura), follows the comedic adventures of a young martial artist named Ranma Saotome as he navigates teenage life and romances - but it's complicated... he transforms into a girl when splashed with cold water and reverts to a boy with hot water!
The fresh adaptation of the timeless classic is produced by MAPPA and directed by Konosuke Uda (ONE PIECE, DAYS). Kimiko Ueno (Delicious in Dungeon, Uchitama?! Have You Seen My Tama?) serves as the series composer, and Hiromi Taniguchi (Jellyfish Restaurant, Punch Line) is the character designer.
Additionally, the star-studded Japanese voice cast has been announced. The three lead voice actors, who are returning to their roles from the 1989 anime adaptation, share their excitement:
