PROPAGATE AND WORLD FOOD CHAMPIONSHIP HOLDINGS FORM PARTNERSHIP TO PRODUCE FOOD COMPETITION SERIES

Los Angeles/New York - October 31, 2023 - Premiere independent content studio Propagate and World Food Championships Holdings, a partnership between WFC and IMG, have entered into a development partnership to produce a series based on the World Food Championships (WFC). Award-winning producer Michael Rucker is attached to develop the format and as Showrunner.

"The WFC team has built a food competition powerhouse with a wide range of live events around the world and across the U.S. We are confident that through this partnership we can develop an equally exciting and unique series that will appeal to broadcast, cable, or streaming outlets globally. We look forward to cooking up some great content together," said Propagate Chairman and Co-CEO Ben Silverman and Co-CEO Howard T. Owens.

"We are thrilled to be working with Propagate on a series featuring The World Food Championships and the rapidly growing world of food sport," commented Mike Eaton, CEO of World Food Championships Holdings. "Our goal is to deliver a food competition concept that looks and feels very different. With competitions that feature world-class preparation of food that people cook at home every day, we aim to bring a concept to market that appeals to the masses and sheds more light on the explosive growth of the global food sport community."

Further detail on the series will be released at a later date.

The World Food Championships is the world's largest Food Sport competition. This multi-day, live event culinary competition showcases some of the world's best cooks who compete for food, fame and fortune in 12 categories (Bacon, Barbecue, Burger, Chef, Cocktail, Dessert, Live Fire, Rice/Noodle, Sandwich, Seafood, Soup and Vegetarian). Each January Food Sport kicks off with thousands of cook teams trying to earn their way into WFC by winning a Golden Ticket at an official qualifier. Since its inception in 2012, almost 40 countries and every state in America have been represented at WFC's main event which takes place every November in Dallas, TX.

Peabody Award winning producer and 4-time Emmy(R)-nominee Michael Rucker has produced, directed and showrun some of unscripted television's most game changing programs across network, cable, and streaming platforms. His credits include "Project Runway," "Work of Art," "Fast Foodies," "Top Chef," "Masters," "3," "The Numbers Game," and more. Rucker's "101 Places to Party Before You Die" was named to Wired's "Best of 2022" TV list.
