NEW ID SERIES "GOOD COP, BAD COP" - HOSTED BY VETERAN HOMICIDE DETECTIVE GARRY MCFADDEN - EXPOSES CRIMINALS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT

-Premieres Sunday, November 12 at 10/9c on ID-

Retired detective Garry McFadden hosts ID's new series GOOD COP, BAD COP.

Esteemed detective Garry McFadden (I Am Homicide) brings his veteran law enforcement background to the all-new Investigation Discovery series, GOOD COP, BAD COP, premiering Sunday, November 12 at 10/9c. The six-episode series, hosted by McFadden, recounts detectives' pursuits to solve a complicated murder investigation with a startling twist: the perpetrator is a fellow member of law enforcement.

Featuring interviews with those closely connected to the case and expert insight from McFadden, who has solved hundreds of homicide cases during his own career, each story reveals just how difficult and dangerous it is when the killer is on the inside. Staged and covered up crime scenes make the investigations all the more complex. But these dedicated detectives are committed to capturing the criminals and bringing them to justice, no matter the cost or badge they wear.

About Garry McFadden

Garry McFadden is a highly decorated law enforcement officer and 37-year veteran of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) in North Carolina. McFadden has spent 30 years as a detective for the CMPD, with 22 of those in the homicide unit. Throughout his career, he has worked over 800 homicide cases with a 90-percent success rate in the investigations he pursues, and he has never lost a homicide case during a trial. McFadden is well-regarded among law enforcement for his unorthodox methods of cracking cases. After a stellar career, he retired from CMPD in 2011 and went to work in the Office of the Chief to the Community Relations Unit to help implement programs within his community. In 2015, he was named Charlotte's Citizen of The Year. McFadden currently serves as Sheriff of Mecklenburg County. Elected to this role in 2018, he is the first African-American Sheriff in county history. McFadden has previously starred in the ID series I Am Homicide, which highlighted some of his most complex homicide cases while working for the CMPD.
