In the season two premiere the team discovers the lost remains of an A-3 Skywarrior jet that fatally crashed in July 1960 while trying to land on the USS Saratoga. A thorough investigation by both land and sea results in a positive identification of the exact jet and the pilot and crew who lost their lives. The team meets with the pilot's sons to share some long-awaited answers to what happened in the moments leading up to that fateful crash over six decades ago.
