007'S ROAD TO A MILLION (Amazon) - Casting is underway on a second season of the series in advance of its launch. (Variety.com, 9/13)
APPLE STUDIOS (Various) - The streamer has suspended its first-look deals with Natalie Portman and Sophie Mas's MountainA as well as Adam McKay's Hyperobject Industries. (Deadline.com, 9/15)
CBS STUDIOS (Various) - The studio has suspended its overall deals with Phil McGraw's Stage 29 and DeVon Franklin's Franklin Entertainment. (Deadline.com, 9/11)
CLARKSON'S FARM (Amazon) - The streamer is in active talks to renew the series for a fourth season. (Deadline.com, 9/14)
DISNEY GENERAL ENTERTAINMENT CONTENT (Various) - The studio has suspended its overall and first-look deals with Gina Rodriguez, Justin Hartley, Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore at 20th Television; Yara Shahidi and Marc Webb at ABC Signature; Hiro Murai, Billy Porter and Stacey Sher at FX Productions. JEOPARDY! (Syndication) - Ken Jennings will serve as the host of the show's 40th season. Mayim Bialik previously announced she would not return until the WGA strike is resolved. (Deadline.com, 9/11)
KINGDOM BUSINESS (BET+) - The new season, due on November 2, has cast Loretta Devine as Darlene West, Denita's mother; Michelle Williams as Skye Johnson; Moritz Williams as Xavier, Rbel's love interest; Uyoata Eno Udi as Chaplain aka Elijah; and Gillian Iliana Waters as Vy Waters, Caesar's high-powered attorney; with Erica Campbell, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Israel Houghton, Tamela Mann, David Mann, Naomi Raine and Blessing Offor appearing as themselves.
