TLC ANNOUNCES NEW RELATIONSHIP SERIES "MATCH ME ABROAD" PREMIERING SUNDAY, MAY 14th AT 10PM ET/PT
(Los Angeles, CA) - In a swipe right culture, finding romance isn't easy and in TLC's newest relationship series, MATCH ME ABROAD, three international matchmakers put their skills to the test by helping seven Americans who are looking to find love only abroad. While these singles are eager to explore and find love, their matchmakers will need to break through the real reasons they may have struck out in the past. Whether chaperoning dates, translating languages or coaching their clients through the ups and downs of dating, these savvy, love connoisseurs from around the world will do what it takes to find the right connection.

Based in Prague, Czech Republic matchmaker Katarína Němcová takes on Harold and Michelle as clients. She puts blood, sweat and tears into being a professional matchmaker and relationship consultant with an 80% success rate.
· Harold is a talented artist currently living in New Mexico. At 41, he recently moved out of his parents' home and has found a new career and financial security as a radiation technician. The one thing he's missing is a partner to share his new life, and rock collection, with. Having struck out in America, he's turning to a matchmaker in the Czech Republic to find his future wife.
· Michelle, 34 from North Carolina, wants to reconnect with her European heritage but as a self-proclaimed feminist princess she is challenging to find a man who doesn't want to play the antiquated gender roles.
Based in Colombia, matchmaker Juan Manuel Niño takes on Susan, Nathaly and Chad as his clients. Juan prides himself in blending cultures and coaching his clients to work on themselves to find their perfect match.
· Susan, 52 from New York, packs her bags and her dog child Calliope to find a Latin hunk who will meet her laundry list of must-haves, including a full head of hair before giving up on love forever.
· Nathaly, 25 from California, is leaving behind her conservative Sri-Lankan mother and getting out of her comfort zone to find love in Colombia.
· Chad, 38 from Tennessee, is hoping a matchmaker can help him put his three failed engagements behind him and find a Colombian princess so he can finally live happily ever after back at home with his mom and dogs.
In Morocco, matchmaker Nina Kharoufeh takes on Stanika and Mark as her clients. Growing up in Jersey as a Palestinian, she is uniquely skilled for matching Arabs with Americans and ready to uphold her undefeated matchmaker record.
· Stanika, 32 from Mississippi, has never had a boyfriend before. Finally writing off dating in the U.S., she's traveling all the way to Morocco to find a sexy and confident Moroccan man who appreciates her sense of humor and boisterous personality. With the help of a matchmaker, she hopes to find her match and bring him home to her family.
· Mark, 44 from Arizona, has lived a life on the road working in sports broadcasting. He's realized that all of his friends have settled down and he's been left behind. Mark is finally ready to put down roots and start a family of his own. Having always appreciated Moroccan culture, he believes that his future wife is a beautiful Moroccan woman. He's putting his career on hold and all of his energy into finding the one by using a matchmaker.
