Development Update: Tuesday, October 11
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

FOR ALL MANKIND (Apple TV+) - Maria Mashkova and Dimiter Marinov are the latest bound for the series' fourth season as Svetlana, "a co-pilot"; and Iyla, "a Mars space veteran," respectively. (Deadline.com)
GOOSEBUMPS (Disney+) - Zack Morris and Isa Briones have both joined the cast of the reboot series. Morris play Isaiah, "a popular star football player whose financial struggles at home, has him and his family banking on his athleticism to secure him a full ride to college"; while Briones is Jane, who "typically has her head in a book, causing her classmates to think she is a snob but she is just laser focused on her writing and creating a life that is interesting enough for a memoir." (Variety.com)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Kelli Giddish's Amanda Rollins will formally exit the series on its December 8 episode. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER (NBC) - Former cast member Elisabeth Röhm will return to direct an episode later this season: "Only the Lonely," which "follows the investigation and trial in the murder of a high-level crisis consultant, who made many enemies in her career." (TVLine.com)
SHOP, THE: UNINTERRUPTED (YouTube) - The series has nixed an upcoming episode featuring Kanye West. "Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes," the SpringHill Company said in a statement to Andscape. (Deadline.com)
ST. DONATUS (Peacock, New!) - Writers Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder and director Richard Shepard are set to re-team for a new drama to the streamer about "a small town in Iowa with a dark secret. An unwitting family, relocating from Brooklyn, moved into a newly-renovated farmhouse on the outskirts of town. When the family starts experiencing unsettling occurrences, it brings them closer to the town's secret... and the very thing trapped in their cellar." Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
TRILL LEAGUE (BET+) - Anthony Piper's animated adaptation of his webcomic has found a new home at BET+. Originally sold to Quibi in 2019, the project "tells the story of a team of Black superheroes battling against each other's self-indulgences in order to combat the villains of today's cultural conflicts and protect society." Leann Bowen is co-writing the script, taking over from Jameel Saleem. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Jermaine Johnson also executive produce for G-Unit Film & Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Lionsgate Television. (Deadline.com)
YOUR HONOR (Showtime) - Mark Margolis and Mark O'Brien will both drop by the show's sophomore run as Carmine Conti, "a much feared mobster who is the father of Gina Baxter (Hope Davis)"; and Father Jay, "the Baxter family's priest whom they rely on for counsel," respectively. (Variety.com)
