ALTER EGO/I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE/NAME THAT TUNE (FOX) - Rob Wade, president of alternative entertainment and specials, confirmed the network has "banked a third season of "Name That Tune," will produce a third season of "I Can See Your Voice" in October, and is developing a slightly different version of "Alter Ego," which has run for one season thus far." BOB (HEARTS) ABISHOLA (CBS) - Arrika Ekulona's Ebunoluwa will return as a regular for the series' upcoming fourth season. (Deadline.com)
CSI: VEGAS (CBS) - Sherri Saum is slated to recur on the new season as Jodi, "a board member of the Eclipse Casino who will be working with Marg Helgenberger's Catherine Willows to help solve a case." (TVLine.com)
DOMINO MASTERS/JOE MILLIONAIRE: FOR RICHER OR POORER/REAL DIRTY DANCING, THE (FOX) - Rob Wade, president of alternative entertainment and specials, likewise indicated "budgets are being creatively worked on" for shows like "Domino Masters," "Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer" and "The Real Dirty Dancing," but they have not been officially renewed or canceled." FAME OR FORTUNE (FOX, New!) - The network is looking to import the Irish format "The Big Deal" which "features variety acts performing for the judges, with each offered a deal to either accept a cash payment or bet on themselves and hope they've impressed the judges enough to make it to the final." BiggerStage and FOX Alternative Entertainment will co-produce. No auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
FARMER WANTS A WIFE (FOX, New!) - The network is likewise eyeing a new take on the British format "centered around a group of farmers that are presented with women from the city and they must choose one to be their spouse." Chris Culvenor and Paul Franklin's Eureka Productions is behind the project, the parent company of which, FremantleMedia, previously mounted a U.S. take on The CW in 2008. Eden Gaha and David Tibballs will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
FIRST LIE WINS (Hulu, New!) - Krista Vernoff and Meghann Plunkett developing a TV series based on Ashley Elston's forthcoming novel at the streamer, "described as a twisty cat-and-mouse thriller." Said trio will executive produce alongside Andrew Stearn, Trip the Light Productions' Alexandre Schmitt and Orit Entertainment's Octavia Spencer, Brian Clisham and Stephanie Kluft for ABC Signature. GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Kate Walsh will once again reprise her role of Addison Montgomery during the show's upcoming 19th season. (Variety.com)
HIS MAJESTY'S DRAGON (FOX, New!) - Ben Queen is developing an animated series at the network based on Naomi Novik's fantasy novel "set during an alternate-history version of the Napoleonic Wars, in which dragons not only exist but are piloted like skyships and choose their own masters." It "centers primarily on events involving titular dragon Temeraire and his handler, Will Laurence." FOX Entertainment and Bento Box Entertainment are producing. (Deadline.com)
IRONHEART (Disney+) - Shakira Barrera is the latest to score a yet-to-be-revealed role on the Marvel Studios series. (Deadline.com)
JENNY IS A WEAPON (FOX, New!) - Marc Cherry and Joshua Michael Stern are developing a new drama at the network which "follows the story of a sheltered Maryland housewife who, at the moment her marriage falls apart, discovers she has special psychic powers and is recruited by a secret government agency where she will have to juggle her broken family and saving the world." Ryan McPartlin and Travis Lively also conceived the story alongside said duo with all four executive producing with Mindy Schultheis and Michael Hanel for FOX Entertainment. The project is being eyed for a potential straight-to-series order. (Deadline.com)
OTHER BLACK GIRL, THE (Hulu) - Mariama Diallo has been tapped to helm the debut installment of the series, which "follows Nella, an editorial assistant who is tired of being the only Black girl at her company. So when Hazel is hired, Nella is excited at first until her star begins to rise. Nella spirals out and discovers something sinister is going on at the company." (Deadline.com)
POKER FACE (Peacock) - Cherry Jones, Luis Guzmán, Hong Chau and Reed Birney have all landed roles on the secret mystery drama series. (Deadline.com)
SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW) - Australian actor Michael Bishop has been cast as Jonathan Kent for the show's upcoming third season. He replaces Jordan Elsass, who exited the series earlier this year. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED AMERICAN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION PROJECT (Amazon, New!) - Prime Video Sports, George Karl's Truth+ Media, Todd Lieberman's Hidden Pictures, and Kenan Kamwana Holley's Holley Films are set to team for a multi-part docuseries about "the the rise and fall of the [American Basketball Association], which defined one of America's most turbulent eras and shaped the NBA as we know it today." Lieberman, Karl, Brett Goldberg, and Kamwana Holley are the executive producers with Holley also directing. (Deadline.com)
