DE LA CALLE (MTV, New!) - Nick Barili will host a new series which "will take viewers on a journey into the Latino diaspora to explore (and map) the evolution of Urbano music and cultures that ignited the musical revolution of Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Bachata, Latin trap, Cumbia, and other sounds that are influencing music and culture worldwide. Featured artists include Ivy Queen, Residente, Snow Tha Product, Nicky Jam, Youtel of Orishas, Goyo of Chocquibtown, Sech, Arcangel, Renato, Dimelo Flow, Vico C, El Aleman, and Duki." IRRATIONAL, THE (NBC) - Maahra Hill has scored the female lead opposite Jesse L. Martin in the drama pilot as Marisa, "an astute and intelligent FBI agent with a passion for her work who often finds herself teaming up with Alec (Martin) in one way or another." NATIONAL PARKS (2022 VERSION) (ABC) - Michaela McManus is the first to be cast in the drama pilot as Audrey, "a beautiful but completely unaffected young Park Service agent, a "wild at heart rule breaker" with a big heart and self-deprecating sense of humor who loves the wilderness. Amazingly intuitive, Audrey can size up a crime scene like a modern-day Sherlock Holmes. Her mother was killed by the infamous Wild Flower Killer when she was just 11, and she has been raised ever since by Hugh, who is now her boss. When a young man is killed in Yosemite, it appears that her mother's murderer has become active again after many years, and Audrey is determined to bring him to justice." (Deadline.com)
SHE-RA LIVE-ACTION SERIES (Amazon) - Nicole Kassell has signed on to direct and executive produce the streamer's proposed live-action take on the DreamWorks Animation series. No writer is currently attached. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED DAREDEVIL PROJECT (Disney+, New!) - Matt Corman and Chris Ord are reportedly spearheading a new series for Marvel Studios which could see the return of Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk from "Marvel's Daredevil." Cox reprised said role in the feature "Spider-Man: No Way Home" while D'Onofrio returned as Kingpin in "Hawkeye." No other details were given. (Variety.com)
