ANNE RICE'S MAYFAIR WITCHES (AMC) - Harry Hamlin has been cast in the upcoming series as Cortland Mayfair, "current reigning patriarch of the Mayfair clan with a voracious appetite for more money, more power and more life, in his first series regular role in over two decades." (Deadline.com)
CHARMED (The CW) - Natasha Henstridge is slated to recur on the current season as Diana: "Described as confident, strong, and wry-witted, Diana is another Whitelighter, when it was believed that Harry (Rupert Evans) was the only one left. Diana seeks Harry out in the hopes that he can help her escape from a bizarre, magical predicament in which she finds herself." (Variety.com)
EAST NEW YORK (CBS) - Jimmy Smits has signed onto the drama pilot as "three-star Chief John Suarez, whose experience, commanding presence and strong moral center helps oversee the melding of communities and the precincts that serve them." (Deadline.com)
GOTHAM KNIGHTS (The CW) - Misha Collins has been cast as Harvey Dent in the DC Comics pilot, "Gotham's charismatic, hard-charging District Attorney. With a rigid sense of right and wrong, Harvey's idealism and single-minded quest for justice will ironically and tragically transform him into one of Gotham's most feared supervillains, Two-Face." (Deadline.com)
IMMIGRANT (Hulu) - Filming on the limited series has paused "because of a positive Covid test in the central Zone 1, which includes the cast and those directly interacting with them." Production is expected to resume next week. (Deadline.com)
MOTHER & SON ESQ. & P.I. PILOT (CBS) - Geena Davis has exited the drama pilot for unspecified reasons. It's understood Marcia Gay Harden has closed a deal to take over her role as Joan, "a "razor-sharp" lawyer "and a self-made success who put herself through law school to support her three kids when her first husband died. Very controlling and always aware of appearances, Joan must rely on Todd, her least reliable child, when her second marriage mysteriously unravels. And while she can't condone Todd's less than legal tactics, she's impressed by his ability to sleuth out information." (Deadline.com)
MR. MAYOR/NEVER HAVE I EVER (NBC/Netflix) - Writer/producer Amina Munir has signed an overall deal with Universal Television, home to both her current series. (Deadline.com)
TRUTH BE TOLD (Apple TV+) - Gabrielle Union is set to star opposite Octavia Spencer in the third season of the anthology series. She'll play Eva, "an outspoken high school principal who becomes embroiled in a problematic incident." (Deadline.com)
UNBROKEN (NBC) - Cress Williams and Shian Tomlinson have both been cast in the drama pilot. Williams will play Will Stanton, "a retired bull-riding champion and manager of the Holleren ranch. A warm and unflappable man, Will is Cole's (Delon de Metz) best friend and uncle to his two adult children." And Tomlinson is Will's daughter, Ngozi "Gozi" Stanton, "a fiercely competitive girl with a dazzling smile who's determined to become a rodeo champion like her father." (Deadline.com)
UP HERE (Hulu) - Mae Whitman has scored the lead role on the musical romantic comedy series as Lindsay, "who has spent her entire life desperately trying to live up to the good girl persona the world seems to expect of her. But she is sick and tired of being nice, and she is about to leave her small life in small town Vermont behind to move to New York City to find out who she really is, and what she really wants." (Deadline.com)
WHEEL OF FORTUNE (Syndication) - Bellamie Blackstone has been named executive producer of the long-running game show while Steve Schwartz has been promoted to co-executive producer for the upcoming 40th season. They'll formally succeed Mike Richards, who stepped down last year. (Deadline.com)
