JEFFREY WRIGHT RETURNS FOR SEASON 2 OF VICE TV'S GOVERNMENT EXPOSÉ DOCU-SERIES, "WHILE THE REST OF US DIE"

Westworld's Jeffrey Wright reprises his role as series narrator to tell the secret history of how government and corporate elites have rigged the system against everyday Americans

BROOKLYN, NY (October 18, 2021)-- Today, VICE TV announced that season two of While The Rest Of Us Die will premiere Thursday, October 21st at 10pm ET/PT on VICE TV. Reprising his role as series narrator is Emmy(R) , Tony(R) and Golden Globe(R) award-winning actor Jeffrey Wright (Westworld, No Time To Die, and the upcoming The Batman). This explosive second season takes a hard look in the mirror at the state of our nation and asks why, in the wealthiest country in the world, does daily life feel so insecure?

Told through the accounts of some of America's leading journalists, activists and political insiders, While The Rest Of Us Die exposes how the government empowers food barons, drug CEOs, fossil fuel giants, and greedy billionaires to reap billions and corrupt government policy all while destroying our health and the planet.

Inspired by the best-selling book Raven Rock: The Story of the US Government's Secret Plan to Save Itself - While the Rest of Us Die by Garrett M. Graff, the eight, one-hour episodes unravel the secret history of how the wealthy and powerful have benefited themselves at our expense through the pandemic, the corporate corruption of science, the threat of nuclear war, the billionaire space race, and more.

While The Rest Of Us Die contributors this season include Paul Rieckhoff, Larry Lessig, Anthea Butler, Kurt Andersen, Jared Yates Sexton, Cory Doctorow, Sharon K. Weiner, Mychal Denzel Smith, Jane Mayer, Raj Patel, Doug Rushkoff, Dr. Cristin Kearns, Hilton Kelley, Charlie LeDuff, Shelly Bell, Joe Cirincione and Carey Gillam.
