BATWOMAN (The CW) - Bridget Regan is slated to recur on the upcoming season as Pamela Isley, aka Poison Ivy, "the former botany student of Gotham University, a passionate, brilliant scientist with a mind for changing the world for the better. Pamela's plans shifted when she was experimented on by a colleague and injected with various plant toxins that turned her into the infamous Batman villain Poison Ivy. With a formidable power coursing through her veins, Pamela used her powers to do what she thought was right... even if Batman and those closest to her disagreed with her dangerous methods. Now effectively wiped off the board for years, Batwoman and the Bat Team must prepare themselves for Poison Ivy to return with a vengeance." (Deadline.com)
DEAD RINGERS (Amazon) - Jennifer Ehle and Emily Meade are both bound for the Rachel Weisz-led drama series. Ehle will play Rebecca, "a brilliant and ruthless heiress, regularly featuring on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. GIRL FROM PLAINVILLE, THE (Hulu) - Cara Buono and Kai Lennox are the latest to star opposite Elle Fanning in the upcoming drama. Buono will play Gail Carter, "Michelle's (Fanning) mother. At first, it's hard to crack Gail, but as the series progresses, she becomes introspective about her own skills as a mother. Gail tries to help Michelle address her mental health issues. She is terrified of the potential reality of her daughter's complicity in Coco's death and of how the world will critique her." And Lennox is David Carter, "Michelle's father. David works as a Sales Manager to assist in providing his family with what appears to be a normal, suburban lifestyle. 'Appears to be' is the operative phrase, and cracks begin to fissure the illusion." (Deadline.com)

He is a fixer both inside and outside the prison system in a town where the prisons are the economic engines to the city at large." (Deadline.com)
OLGA DIES DREAMING (Hulu) - Jesse Williams has signed onto the Aubrey Plaza-led drama pilot as Matteo, "who is a collector: of music, of objects, of trivia, and mainly, of opinions. A passionate Brooklynite, he won't just tell you where to find the best slice, he'll drive you there to get it. He'd come across as a know it all if, in fact, he wasn't so genuinely curious about everything. He's a person keenly aware of people's inclination to put everyone and everything into neat little boxes and he firmly refuses to conform." (Deadline.com)
ORDINARY JOE (NBC) - Rushi Kota, Jason Burkey and Gabrielle Byndloss are all set to recur on the newcomer. Kota will play Sai, "adorable, neurotic Chief of Staff helping to run a political campaign." (Deadline.com)

THING ABOUT PAM, THE (NBC) - Judy Greer and Katy Mixon are set to star opposite Renée Zellweger and Josh Duhamel in the limited series. Greer will play Leah Askey, "the former Lincoln County prosecutor who tried Russ Faria twice for his wife's murder." Co-created by Melinda Hsu Taylor, Noga Landau and Cameron Johnson, the series "follows the serialized adventures of its titular Black, gay, billionaire inventor (Tian Richards) who is thrust into a world of sci-fi conspiracy and unexplained phenomena after the shocking disappearance of his father. Tom takes to the road on a quest to unravel the truth, leaving behind the comforts of his usual moneyed lifestyle, all while fighting to stay one step ahead of an Illuminati-scale group hell-bent on stopping him. Tom's missions will require his genius and flair for innovation guided by love, romance, friendship and the mysteries of the universe yet-unsolved." Fake Empire's Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Lis Rowinski will also executive produce for CBS Studios while LeVar Burton, who voiced Barclay, "Swift's steadfast AI companion and tough-love mentor" is also expected to return.
