ABBOTT ELEMENTARY (ABC) - The upcoming workplace comedy series has reported three COVID-19 cases however none involved direct interaction with the cast. Production has not been impacted. (Deadline.com)
BMF (Starz) - Tyshon Freeman and Shondalia White will both recur on the newcomer. Freeman plays Hoop, "a drug dealer within Meech and Terry's crew who is quick to draw his gun and crack a joke in the same breath. His loyalty is unwavering and relentless which is why he's such an assistant." And White portrays Karen Jones, "the niece of Pastor Swift who is a no nonsense lawyer with a heart of gold. Karen is the lawyer for the Flenory family regarding Terry's botched surgery. For Karen, justice is not an unreasonable request and she goes the extra mile to get whatever her clients deserve." FLASH, THE (The CW) - Javicia Leslie (Ryan Wilder), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer), Cress Williams (Jefferson Pierce), Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers), Kat McNamara (Mia Queen), Osric Chau (Ryan Choi), Tom Cavanagh (Eobard Thawne) and Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk) will reprise their Arrowverse roles during "The Flash's" opening five-part special event, "Armageddon," this season. FLORIDA MAN (Netflix) - The Edgar Ramírez-led drama has added Leonard Earl Howze as Ray-Ray, "an ex-cop, Sonny Valentine's longtime, loyal associate and the "muscle" for his illicit operations"; Isabel Gameros as Tyler, "the guarded, deadpan 14-year-old daughter of Patsy and Deacon, whose interest in space travel comes from wanting to get as far away from her parents as possible"; and Mark Jeffrey Miller as Buzz, "Sonny Valentine's other associate, who was badly shocked during a police operation years ago, and whose brain synapses now fire at a dangerously unpredictable rate"; all recurring roles. INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (AMC) - Jacob Anderson has scored the title role in the network's Anne Rice adaptation, which "centers on Louis as he relates the story of his life to a reporter, in particular how he was turned into a vampire and then mentored by Lestat de Lioncourt." Brad Pitt played the part in the 1994 film incarnation. (Variety.com)
LAST ONE LEFT, THE (HBO, New!) - George Pelecanos and Megan Abbott are developing a drama series at the network based on John D. MacDonald's novel, detailed as follows: "In 1967 Miami, a pleasure cruiser carrying a wealthy deal-maker and his guests explodes en route to the Bahamas with only the captain found alive. The mysterious Gold Coast resident Crissy Harkinson may know far more about the explosion than she's telling, and when Sam Boylston, the brother of one of the victims, arrives to find answers, he joins forces with Francisca Torcedo, who works for Crissy and has her own suspicions about her ambitious employer." The project is part of Pelecanos's newly signed two-year overall deal with the pay channel. Archer Gray Productions' Anne Carey; Amy Robinson Productions' Amy Robinson; and Toluca Pictures' Stacey Levin and Steve Stark also serve as executive producers for MGM Television. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (NBC) - Lolita Davidovich, Mykelti Williamson, Guillermo Diaz and Dash Mihok are the latest to recur on the series. They'll play Flutura Briscu, Preston Webb, Sgt. Bill Brewster and Reggie Bogdani, respectively. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)
PRÊT-À-PORTER (Paramount+, New!) - The streamer and Miramax Television are developing a series based on Robert Altman's 1994 fashion industry satire, which "chronicles the interconnected lives of a group of people in the lead-up to the 1994 Paris Fashion Week, where models, designers, reporters and fashion editors gather to present next year's trends." Ava Pickett is behind the project, which "will focus on the next generation, revolving around young people on the first rung of success' ladder." No other auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Mehcad Brooks will reprise his role of James Olsen for the series' final episode. Jeremy Jordan and Chris Wood are likewise due back as Winn Schott and Mon-El, respectively. (EW.com)
UNTITLED RACHEL BONNETTA PROJECT (TBS, New!) - Writer/director Betsy Thomas is developing a comedy series at the cable channel starring FOX Sports anchor Rachel Bonnetta based on her real life in the sports broadcasting world. The project is set up at the Lionsgate Television-based Tannenbaum Co. with Thomas, Bonnetta, Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum and Adam Griffin serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
