ATLANTA (FX) - The long-in-the-works third season of the comedy series is now being targeted for early 2022. (Deadline.com)
CAT'S CRADLE (FX) - Noah Hawley's adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's novel is not moving forward at the network. "We made a decision not to move forward with it at FX, although we still have an overall deal with Noah Hawley," said FX Chairman John Landgraf at the TCA Summer Press Tour. OLD MAN, THE (FX on Hulu) - Filming on the Jeff Bridges-led drama is expected to resume at the start of 2022 "contingent on Bridges feeling well and getting green light from his doctors to return to work as well as the ever-evolving Covid situation." Production has been hiatus since October "when the actor revealed that he has been diagnosed with lymphoma." (Deadline.com)
TITANS (HBO Max) - Co-star Vincent Kartheiser has "triggered at least two complaints and two internal investigations" by Warner Bros. Television. Said report indicates the allegations, "believed to have included disruptive, juvenile behavior and inappropriate comments," were investigated by the studio's Labor Relations department. A spokesperson for the actor issued a statement: "Vincent Kartheiser vehemently denies the allegations. Warner Bros. investigated this matter and made clear to Mr. Kartheiser its expectations for behavior on the set, and he agreed to comply with their directives." (Deadline.com)
WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS (FX) - Scott Rudin will be dropped as an executive producer of the series "following allegations of systematic abuse against the uber producer." (Deadline.com)
