BONDING/COUNTRY COMFORT/CREW, THE/MR. IGLESIAS (Netflix) - The streamer has canceled the aforementioned quartet however will remain in business with several of their auspices. Kevin James, now late of "The Crew," is developing a single-camera comedy series with the network to produce and star in; "Bonding" creator Rightor Doyle has closed a development deal with the service; and "Mr. Iglesias" star Gabriel Iglesias has a new stand-up special slated to shoot this summer. FBI: MOST WANTED (CBS) - Co-star Nathaniel Arcand have confirmed he will not return for the series' third season. His character had not been seen since its December 8 episode. (Deadline.com)
LOVECRAFT COUNTRY (HBO) - The pay channel has opted not to proceed with a second season of the series. "We will not be moving forward with a second season of Lovecraft Country," HBO said in a statement. "We are grateful for the dedication and artistry of the gifted cast and crew, and to Misha Green, who crafted this groundbreaking series. And to the fans, thank you for joining us on this journey." SNOWFALL (FX) - Co-star Damson Idris will serve as a producer on the show's upcoming fifth season. (Deadline.com)
THAT GIRL LAY LAY (Nickelodeon) - The Alaya "That Girl Lay Lay" High-led comedy series has cast Nevaeh Green as Sadie; Peyton Perrine III as Sadie's brother, Marky; Tiffany Daniels as Sadie's mom, Trish; Thomas Hobson as Sadie's dad, Bryce; and Caleb Brown as Lay Lay and Sadie's classmate, Jeremy. ULTIMATE SLIP 'N SLIDE (NBC) - The network has pulled the reality competition series from its planned launch on Sunday, August 8. Filming was halted last month "due to an outbreak of giardia, an intestinal infection, among staff." Universal Television hopes to resume shooting a new location. (Deadline.com)
ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (NBC) - Lionsgate Television has not extended options on the series' cast despite efforts to find a new home following its cancellation by NBC. Should a third season materialize, new deals will have to be made with Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, Andrew Leeds, Alice Lee, Michael Thomas Grant, Kapil Talwalkar and Mary Steenburgen.
