61ST STREET (AMC) - Jerod Haynes will recur on the upcoming courtroom drama series as Big Phil, "a kind, hardworking and loving man who walks into Norma's life just when she needs him most. She has to wonder whether maybe he's too good to be true - and maybe she's right." (Deadline.com)
AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - Model Kaia Gerber is the latest bound for the show's 10th season. (@mrrpmurphy)
BLACK DON'T CRACK (ABC) - Sherri Shepherd is set to star in the multi-camera comedy pilot as Angela Wright, "a native New Yorker somewhere between 45 and death, but it's hard to tell because "black don't crack." She's a single mom who put aside her musical dreams to raise her son after her husband died. She's been holding it down alone for years, taking care of her family instead of herself. When she is confronted with a personal crisis, she reunites with her sorority sisters to recapture the passion, ambition and sisterhood of their college glory days." Additionally, Kelly Park is slated to direct. Shepherd will also produce through her Faith Walker Productions. (Deadline.com)
CARL WEBER'S THE FAMILY BUSINESS (BET+) - K.J. Smith's Sasha Duncan will be promoted to regular for the show's third season. Additionally, the following have been cast in recurring roles: Stan Shaw as Larry Duncan; Sheila E. as Maude; Denise Boutte as Raven Sinclair; Jasper Cole as Cory Black; Lew Temple as Billy Bob; Horace Dodd as Aires Cora; Ben Stephens as Curtis Duncan; Jasmin Brown as Charmaine; Kearia Schroeder as Nefertiti; and Desiree Mitchell as Melanie Grant. (Deadline.com)
CHUCKY (Syfy/USA) - Fiona Dourif will reprise her role of the Chucky-battling Nica on the upcoming feature-turned-TV series. She initially appeared in 2013's "Curse of Chucky" and returned for 2017's "Cult of Chucky." (EW.com)
GIRL BEFORE, THE (HBO Max) - Ben Hardy has been cast in the four-episode series as Simon: "Simon can't quite believe he's got a girlfriend like Emma. He'll do anything to keep her, but worries he's not enough for her. Living in the minimalist haven of One Folgate Street, the creation of Edward Monkford, heightens his insecurities even more." (Variety.com)
LANDSCAPERS (HBO) - David Thewlis, Kate O'Flynn, Dipo Ola, Samuel Anderson, Karl Johnson, Felicity Montagu and Daniel Rigby will round out the cast of the Olivia Colman-led limited series. Inspired by real events, the drama explores the lives of convicted killers Susan and Christopher Edwards and asks how this devoted and mild-mannered couple came to kill Susan's parents and bury them in the back garden of their Mansfield home, in a crime that remained undiscovered for over a decade. No details about their characters were given. (Deadline.com)
MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, THE (Showtime) - Jimmi Simpson is the latest to board the Chiwetel Ejiofor-led drama series as Spencer Clay, "a CIA agent whose obsession with the alien's true identity drives him to the edge of madness." (Deadline.com)
MILLION LITTLE THINGS, A (ABC) - Comedian Paul Rodriguez has been cast as Gary's (James Roday Rodriguez) dad, Javier, "described as having "heart" and an "audacious sense of humor," just like his son. While he might be a bit dated in his ways, Javier loves Gary more than anything." (EW.com)
MONSTER: THE JEFFREY DAHMER STORY (Netflix) - Evan Peters, Niecy Nash, Penelope Ann Miller, Shaun J. Brown and Colin Ford will join Richard Jenkins in the limited series. Peters will play the title character, Jeffrey Dahmer, one of America's most notorious serial killers. Miller and Jenkins play "Dahmer's mother Joyce and father Lionel, respectively"; with Nash as Glenda Cleveland, "a neighbor of Dahmer's who called police numerous times and even tried calling the FBI to alert them of Dahmer's erratic behavior, to no avail." Brown portrays Tracy, "Dahmer's last intended victim who fought back and managed to escape, leading the cops to Dahmer's apartment, resulting in the killer's arrest"; and Ford plays Chazz.
