ACTS OF CRIME (ABC) - Candace Grace, Molly Price, Peter Mark Kendall and Josiah Cross are the first to be cast in Sam Esmail's drama pilot. Grace will play Vivien Lamonte, "a Black police detective working homicide in suburban New Jersey. Her early years were spent on the wrong side of the law, but she turned it around to join law enforcement." Price then is Captain Gunn: "After weathering a long career in law enforcement, Gunn has climbed up in the ranks to become the Captain of the police department." Meanwhile, Cross will portray Khalid Coffy, "an aspiring comic book artist, Khalid is a troubled teen who gets mixed up in a murder"; with Kendall as Todd, "a spry rookie detective who went to law school but decided that he wanted to "catch the bad guys" instead of prosecuting them." DEBRIS (NBC) - Sebastian Roché is bound for the new drama in the recurring role of Brill, "an enigmatic MI-6 agent who seems to have his own agenda." (Deadline.com)
MASKED SINGER, THE (FOX) - Niecy Nash will guest host the upcoming season following the news that Nick Cannon has tested positive for COVID-19. It's understood Cannon is currently in quarantine and hopes to return later this season. Production on the new season begins on Thursday. (Variety.com)
REBEL (ABC) - Daniella Garcia will recur on the newcomer as Maddie, "who is eight months pregnant with a complicated pregnancy. She is Helen's daughter, and is understandably terrified that her mother's defective heart valve will kill her before the baby is even born." (Variety.com)
SHRINK NEXT DOOR, THE (Apple TV+) - Sarayu Blue will recur on the Paul Rudd-led limited series as Miriam, "a patient of Ike's (Rudd)." (Deadline.com)
