BLACK LIGHTNING (The CW) - Chantal Thuy's Grace Choi has been named a series regular for the show's upcoming fourth season. (Deadline.com)
DARKWING DUCK (Disney+, New!) - Point Grey Pictures is reportedly spearheading a reboot of the 1991-92 animated series, which "followed the titular duck superhero, who lived an ordinary suburban life under the secret identity of Drake Mallard." Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee are among the auspices however no writer is currently attached. The character also appeared in the original "DuckTales" series and its recent reboot. (Variety.com)
EDEN (NBC, New!) - Dean Georgaris has set up a potential drama at the network in which "a small team of military and scientists journey above the Arctic Circle to the site of a terrible nuclear accident more than 10 years ago. Their mission: find out how and why the reactor is mysteriously coming back online." Michael Aguilar as well as CannyLads Productions' Julie Anne Robinson and Kelly Pancho will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
EDEN (Spectrum, New!) - Charter Communications has acquired the eight-episode Australian thriller, which is "centered around an idyll waterside town that holds some very dark secrets. It follows the disappearance of a girl in Byron Bay, an Australian town that seems to be a paradise. Each episode is told from a different character's perspective, and the mystery unfolds through multiple lenses as the secrets that bind this supposed nirvana are exposed." Sophie Wilde, Samuel Johnson Oam, Bebe Bettencourt, Christopher James Baker, Cody Fern, Keiynan Lonsdale, Claude Jabbour and Cassandra Sorrell star in the project, from Every Cloud Productions and Balloon Entertainment. Writer Vanessa Gazy and director John Curran are among the auspices. (Deadline.com)
GILDED AGE, THE (HBO) - Julian Fellowes's period drama has cast Broadway staples Audra McDonald as Dorothy Scott, "the wife of a powerful man and the backbone of her family"; Kelli O'Hara as Aurora Fane, "Agnes van Rhijn's niece"; Donna Murphy as socialite Mrs. Astor; Michael Cerveris as Watson, "George Russell's valet"; Debra Monk as Armstrong, "Mrs. van Rhijn's maid"; Katie Finneran as Anne Morris, "the unforgiving wife of city alderman Patrick Morris"; Celia Keenan-Bolger as Mrs. Bruce, "the Russell's new housekeeper"; Kristine Nielsen as Mrs. Bauer, "Mrs. Van Rhij's cook"; and John Douglas Thompson as Arthur Scott, "a freed slave living in Brooklyn less than 20 years after the end of the Civil War." HIKING WITH KEVIN (TBS, New!) - Kevin Nealon is set to topline a scripted adaptation of his popular YouTube unscripted comedy series for the cable channel in which Nealon "interviews his A-list celebrity friends on hikes throughout the country." Nealon and Danny Zuker are penning the script to the project, full details of which were not given. Marc Gurvitz, George Heller and Seth Jacobs of Brillstein Entertainment Partners will also executive produce alongside the duo. (Deadline.com)
KELLY CLARKSON SHOW, THE (Syndication) - Members of the show's production team have "received positive results when tested as part of the show's COVID safety protocols." Production will resume next week pending results from the state/county's mandated retesting. (Deadline.com)
LOVE, VICTOR (Hulu) - Ava Capri and Anthony Keyvan will both recur on the show's sophomore run as "a cool free-spirit who is close friends with Benji (George Sear)" and "a funny and effusive LGBTQ student at Creekwood at the start of his coming out journey," respectively. (Deadline.com)
MORNING SHOW, THE (Apple TV+) - Hasan Minhaj has been tapped to recur on the series as Eric, "a charismatic, rising star who joins The Morning Show team." (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED HONLEY & MAGUIRE PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Husband-and-wife writing duo April Maguire and Will Honle have sold a new drama to the network in which "a year after a weekend getaway ends in tragedy, a diverse group of former high school friends reunite in the hopes of getting closure. Their reunion takes a dark turn, however, when a stranger begins taunting them and exposes dangerous secrets that lead them to question if their friend's death was really an accident." CryptTV's Jack Davis and Davis Entertainment's John Davis and John Fox will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MICHAEL CHE PROJECT (HBO Max) - Oz Rodriguez is set to helm all six episodes of Michael Che's new sketch series for the streaming service. In addition, he's signed a two-year overall deal with producer Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED VALENTINA GARZA PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Writer Valentina Garza and director Julie Anne Robinson are set to team for a new drama at the network in which "an explosive incident brings a woman's mentally ill mother crashing back into her life. She's now forced to revisit her family's painful past and blur carefully constructed boundaries between her mother and the family she's chosen." CannyLads Productions' Kelly Pancho will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED YADEGARI & YANG PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Jimmy O. Yang and Jeremy Yadegari have sold a new comedy to the network in which "a washed-up chef must deal with his old school Persian parents and eccentric friends from his past when he takes over his parents' dumpy Chinese food restaurant." Aseem Batra is overseeing the project, which will also be executive produced by director Julie Anne Robinson and CannyLads Productions' Kelly Pancho for Universal Television. Yang and Yadegari will serve as co-executive producers. (Deadline.com)

WOMEN OF THE MOVEMENT (ABC) - Niecy Nash is the latest bound for the limited series as Alma, Emmett Till's grandmother: "After Emmett's 1955 murder in Mississippi, Alma, a young grandmother who had been like a second mother to Emmett, fought to protect her family in Chicago while her daughter Mamie traveled the country seeking justice in Emmett's name. Apple TV+ Announces "Neuromancer," New Drama Based on the Multi-Award-Winning Science Fiction Novel by William Gibson
A co-production between Skydance Television and Anonymous Content, "Neuromancer" will also be produced by Drake's DreamCrew Entertainment, with Graham Roland serving as showrunner and JD Dillard set to direct the pilot episode.
