CONDOR/LOUDERMILK/MR. MERCEDES/YOU ME HER (Audience) - AT&T plans to shutter DirecTV's Audience Network this spring as the channel transition into a preview outlet for the company's upcoming streaming service HBO Max. It's now clear how this will affect the yet-to-air seasons of "Condor," "Loudermilk" and "You Me Her" or the future of "Mr. Mercedes," which completed its third season in November. Speculation suggests they will wind up on HBO Max however no decisions have been made. (Variety.com)
CONNERS, THE (ABC) - Noel Fisher has been cast as Dan's now-adult half-brother Ed, "a college graduate who harbors some resentment towards his older brother for not helping care for their octogenarian dad." He'll appear in at least two episodes beginning in February. In the original "Roseanne" series, "Little Ed" was "the late-in-life child that Dan's dad Ed Sr. (Ned Beatty) had with second wife Crystal (Natalie West). Ed Sr. and Crystal also had a daughter, Angela." (TVLine.com)
HIGH & LOW (Quibi, New!) - Erin and Sara Foster are set to topline a comedic travel series for the streaming service which "sets out to discover what the best travel destinations have to offer, regardless of your budget. In each episode, comedic duo and sisters, Erin & Sara Foster, flip a coin to see who goes high [a premium travel experience] and who low [a more authentic - and turbulent - travel experience]." Renegade 83's David Garfinkle, Jay Renfroe and Greg Goldman are executive producing alongside the Fosters. (Deadline.com)
INTO THE DARK (Hulu) - Britt Baron, Anna Lore, Benedict Samuel, Anna Akana, Ally Maki and Sachin Bhatt are set to star in the anthology's February 7 installment from writer/director Maggie Levin. "My Valentine" will "follow a pop singer whose songs and artistic identity have been stolen by her ex-boyfriend/manager and shamelessly pasted onto his new girlfriend/protégé. Locked together in a small concert venue after hours, the three of them confront the emotional abuses of the past... until things turn violent." (Deadline.com)
KIDDING (Showtime) - Executive producers Dave Holstein and Roberto Benabib have signed a first-look deal with the pay channel. (Deadline.com)
LAST OF THE MOHICANS, THE (HBO Max, New!) - Writers Cary Joji Fukunaga and Nick Osborne are set to team with director Nicole Kassell for a potential TV series based on James Fenimore Cooper's historic novel, "a retelling of the author's French and Indian War novel that focuses on the unlikely romance between Uncas, a young Mohican, and Cora, the mixed-race daughter of a British colonel." Anonymous Content's Alex Goldstone and Bard Dorros as well as Sugar23's Michael Sugar will also executive produce for Fukunaga's Paramount Television-based Parliament of Owls banner. FX previously took a stab at developing the novel in 2013, however the project did not move forward. (THR.com)
LOVE IS BLIND (Netflix) - The Nick and Vanessa Lachey-hosted dating series will roll out 10 episodes over three weeks beginning February 13, timed with the Valentine's Day holiday. Chris Coelen, Sam Dean, Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler and Brian Smith are the executive producers for Kinetic Content. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED KEVIN FEIGE PROJECT (ABC, New!) - The Alphabet is reportedly eyeing talks with Kevin Feige about "bringing a superhero series to the broadcast network." No specifics of course were given about the project, which would be the first broadcast show overseen by the Marvel Studios President. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED REVENGE SPIN-OFF PROJECT (ABC) - The Alphabet is mulling its proposed Latinx reboot series as an anthology with a different revenge story each season. The new version "chronicles the story of a young Latinx immigrant. Guided by one of the original series' favorite characters, she arrives in Malibu to exact revenge on a pharmaceutical dynasty, whose insatiable greed lead to the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family, and a global epidemic."
