AMERICAN GODS (Starz) - Iwan Rheon is the latest bound for the new season as the charming and good-natured Liam Doyle. No other details were given. (@amgodsintel)
FOUNDATION (Apple TV+) - The streaming service's Isaac Asimov adaptation has cast Lou Llobell as Gaal, "a mathematical genius from a repressed rural planet"; Leah Harvey as Salvor, "the protective and intuitive warden of a remote outer planet"; Laura Birn as Demerzel, "the enigmatic aide to the Emperor of the Galaxy (Lee Pace)"; Terrence Mann as Brother Dusk, "the eldest living member of the ruling family"; and Cassian Bilton as Brother Dawn, "the youngest living member of the ruling family and next in line to be Brother Day." Jared Harris stars as Hari Seldon, a mathematical genius who predicts the demise of the empire. (Deadline.com)

MARVEL'S TIGRA & DAZZLER SHOW (Hulu) - The streaming service has dismissed showrunner Erica Rivinoja and the entire writing staff as "part of a larger creative overhaul." A new showrunner is expected to come in and reshape the project. (THR.com)
NOS4A2 (AMC) - Zachary Quinto's production company Before the Door Pictures has signed a first-look deal with AMC. The pact gives the company first crack at his scripted output. On the unscripted front, said company has signed a first-look deal with Spoke Studios. (Deadline.com)
OUTMATCHED (FOX) - Finesse Mitchell has joined the cast of the midseason comedy as Irwin, "Mike's (Jason Biggs) best friend and co-worker in construction. Irwin is Rita's (Tisha Campbell) husband, but it's clear she wears the pants and makes the decisions in the family. He's a former jock. He's a laid back and confident guy's guy. More handsome than he is smart. People are drawn to him. He's one of those hot guys who assumes everyone is getting a free cookie with their coffee, even though they aren't." (Deadline.com)
SILENT WITNESS (FOX, New!) - The network is developing a domestic take on the long-running British drama with Melissa Leo attached to star. Joy Blake is penning the project, which "follows two determined women with conflicting methodologies and their team while working for the Chief Medical Examiner in the shadow of a major departmental scandal involving corruption at the highest levels." Leo, Blake, Kim Tannenbaum, Eric Tannenbaum and Angie Stephenson are the executive producers for Lionsgate Television, BBC Studios, FOX Entertainment and The Tannenbaum Co. with Jason Wang as a co-executive producer. THIS COUNTRY (FOX, New!) - Writer Jenny Bicks and director Paul Feig have scored a put pilot commitment for a domestic take on the British comedy at the network which "follows a documentary crew, who go to a small town to study young adults and their current concerns. Their focus is the daily lives of cousins Kelly and Shrub Mallet and their idiosyncratic surroundings." Perkins Street Productions' Bicks, Feigco Entertainment's Feig, Daisy May Cooper, Charlie Cooper and Angie Stephenson are the executive producers for Lionsgate Television, BBC Studios and FOX Entertainment with Dan Magnante as a co-executive producer and Cathy Mason and Rachel Mason producing. UNITED STATES OF AL, THE (CBS) - Parker Young has been tapped to star opposite Adhir Kalyan in the multi-camera comedy pilot, about Riley (Young), "a Marine combat veteran struggling to readjust to civilian life in Ohio, and Awalmir aka Al (Kalyan), the interpreter who served with his unit in Afghanistan and has just arrived to start a new life in America." UNTITLED TITUSS BURGESS PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - Tituss Burgess is fronting a new music contest series at the streaming service, which has been shooting in London. Hello Dolly is behind the project, additional details of which were not given. (Variety.com)
WHEEL OF TIME, THE (Amazon) - The Robert Jordan adaptation has tapped Alvaro Morte as Logain; Hammad Animashaun as Loial; Alexandre Willaume as Thom Merrilin; and Johann Myer as Padan Fain. No other details were given. Rosamund Pike, Madeleine Madden, Marcus Rutherford, Barney Harris, Zoë Robins, Josha Stradowski and Daniel Henney also star. (Deadline.com)
WHITE HOUSE PLUMBERS, THE (HBO, New!) - Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux are set to star in a five-part limited series at the pay channel which "tells the true story of how Nixon's own political saboteurs and Watergate masterminds, E. Howard Hunt, played by Harrelson, and G. Gordon Liddy, played by Theroux, accidentally toppled the Presidency they were zealously trying to protect." Writer Alex Gregory and director David Mandel are spearheading the project with Peter Huyck, Frank Rich, The District's Ruben Fleischer and David Bernad and wiip's Paul Lee and Nne Ebong likewise executive producing alongside the aforementioned quartet.
