BIG FIB, THE (Disney+, New!) - Yvette Nicole Brown is slated to host a new half-hour game show for the streaming service in which "two grown-ups claim to be experts on a topic and one of them is lying. It'll be up to our kid contestant to try and figure out which one is telling 'the big fib.'" Haymaker Productions and Gen-Z Media are behind the project, which has a 30 episode order. Aaron Rothman, Josh Halpert, Irad Eyal and Ben Strouse are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
BLESS THE HARTS (FOX) - Seth Cohen has signed a first-look deal with Jax Media, the company's first such deal with a creator. (Deadline.com)
EMMA (Quibi, New!) - Writer Ben Ketai, director Mary Harron and actress AnnaSophia Robb are set to team for a scripted horror series at the streaming service which "follows the dark journey of a young woman (Robb) down on her luck and pregnant under mysterious circumstances. She must deal with the increasingly disturbing effects of her pregnancy and the potential conspiracy surrounding it." Ben Ketai, Alex Mace, Hal Sadoff, Ben Silverman, Howard Owens, Greg Lipstone and Rodney Ferrell are the executive producers for Dark Castle Entertainment, Propagate and Platinum Dunes with Harron serving as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
FREEDOM (ABC, New!) - Suzanne Martin has scored a put pilot commitment from the network for a multi-camera comedy in which "five very different women are chosen for early release from an overcrowded Florida prison." Universal Television-based Hazy Mills Productions is behind the half-hour with the company's Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
G-MEN (FOX, New!) - Luke Cunningham has sold a multi-camera comedy to the network about "two estranged brothers - who both claim to be government agents, even though one is a hardcore FBI agent and the other's a part-time mailman - struggle to put their vast differences aside when they reunite to help their larger-than-life mother move on after the death of their father." 20th Century Fox Television and FOX Entertainment are behind the project with Austen Earl also slated to executive produce. (Deadline.com)
GOOD TROUBLE (Freeform) - Shannon Chan-Kent will recur on the current season as Ruby, "a smart, savvy lesbian who scouts new talent for her television network's diversity showcase." (Deadline.com)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVERY SCOTT (ABC, New!) - Rina Mimoun and Anna Fricke are set to team for a high-concept drama at the Alphabet in which "it's Avery Scott's birthday today and if you were to believe her Instagram, everything about her life is perfect. But when her first (of four) ex-husbands throws her a surprise party that her own mother doesn't even attend, it sends Avery into an existential crisis prompting an emergency therapy session. Feeling semi-responsible for Avery's empty and meaningless life, the therapist sends Avery home with a calming tea to help her sleep. When she wakes up the next morning, it's 2001 and Avery is being given a second chance to reinvent herself and make her life more substantial than a hashtag." CBS Television Studios is behind the project, which based on the book "The Year We Turned Forty" by Lisa Steinke and Liz Fenton. Secret Hideout's Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
HIGHER LOYALTY, A (CBSS) - The studio's adaptation of James Comey's book has cast Scott McNairy as former U.S. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, William Sadler as former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, and T. R. Knight as former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. (Deadline.com)
JIM JEFFERIES SHOW, THE (Comedy Central) - The comedian's cable entry will sign off after three seasons on November 19. Last month, Jefferies sold a potential comedy - which he's attached to star in - to NBC. "The Jim Jefferies Show will air its final episode on November 19, concluding a brilliant three-year run on Comedy Central," said a spokesperson for Comedy Central. "We thank Jim and the team for bringing us a unique and international approach to culture and politics. We look forward to developing more projects with Jim in the future." (Deadline.com)
KUNG FU (The CW, New!) - Christina M. Kim is the latest creator looking to reboot Ed Spielman's 1970s staple, in which "a quarter-life crisis causes a young Chinese-American woman to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China. But when she returns to find her hometown overrun with crime and corruption, she uses her martial arts skills and Shaolin values to protect her community and bring criminals to justice... all while searching for the assassin who killed her Shaolin mentor and is now targeting her." The news marks the third such effort, but first for The CW. Wendy Mericle and Albert Kim were behind previous attempts in 2017 and 2018, both for FOX. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter of the Warner Bros. Television-based Berlanti Productions remain on board as executive producers while Quinn's House's Martin Gero has since joined. (Deadline.com)

MARVEL'S MOON KNIGHT (Disney+) - Jeremy Slater ("The Umbrella Academy") has been tapped to spearhead the latest entry from the Marvel library. (THR.com)
MARVEL'S SHE-HULK (Disney+) - Emmy-winner Jessica Gao ("Rick and Morty") has likewise been selected to oversee the Marvel entry for the streaming service. (THR.com)
RECEIVER, THE (ABC, New!) - Donald Todd has booked a potential drama at the Alphabet "inspired by America's preeminent receiver, who uniquely solves crimes as a secret weapon of the judicial system and a victim's last hope for justice. The receiver's specialized combination of skills lets him track down and recover a crime's ill-gotten gains all over the world, leading to not only incarceration of the criminals, but also payback for the victims." Jason Reed and Jon Steinberg are also executive producing the hour for ABC Studios. (THR.com)
REVENGE (ABC, New!) - Creator Mike Kelley is developing a follow-up series to his 2011-15 entry which "chronicles the story of a young Latinx immigrant. Guided by one of the original series' favorite characters, she arrives in Malibu to exact revenge on a Sackler-esque pharmaceutical dynasty, whose insatiable greed lead to the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family, and a global epidemic." Kelley is co-writing the project alongside Joe Fazzio for ABC Studios. Melissa Loy and Temple Hill Entertainment's Marty Bowen will likewise executive produce. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED KAT CANDLER PROJECT (TNT, New!) - Kat Candler has sold a new drama to the cable channel billed as "the fatal aftermath of a Lone Star state refinery accident and one woman's move to seek justice through an unprecedented labor action."
