BRIARPATCH (USA) - Ed Asner and Alan Cumming have both signed onto the series in recurring roles. Asner will play James Staghorne, Sr., "the President and owner of the town's only newspaper, The Chronicle"; with Cumming as Clyde Brattle, "an elegant, charming, and murderous arms dealer." MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, THE (Amazon) - Rachel Brosnahan, who plays the title role, has signed a first-look deal with Amazon Studios. The pact gives the company first crack at all development from her Scrap Paper Pictures banner. (Deadline.com)
P-VALLEY (Starz) - Loretta Devine will recur on the upcoming drama as "the Granmuva of Uncle Clifford and former proprietress of The Pynk. Though she may be blind, she sees through the tangled mess of inherited injustice and contradictions that have long ruled the South." (Deadline.com)
YOUR HONOR (Showtime) - Hunter Doohan is set to star opposite Bryan Cranston in the limited series as Adam Desiato, "a high school senior who is involved in a hit-and-run accident that sets off a chain of events that lead to lies, deceit and impossible choices for himself and his father, a respected New Orleans judge (Cranston)."
