PROVO, Utah, Jan. 18, 2019 -- BYUtv, a network that connects families through positive, uplifting entertainment, today announced the upcoming premieres of three reality series that celebrate generosity and giving back to others.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/7 p.m. MT/6 p.m. PT, BYUtv's hit "pranking with a purpose" show, "Random Acts," is back for a new season. The unscripted hidden-camera series highlights the altruistic nature of human beings by featuring real people who are the recipients of random acts of kindness. Season four will be hosted by returning fan-favorites Will Rubio and Emilie Starr, who will be joined by three new personalities - stand-up comedian, host and podcaster Jenna Kim Jones ("The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"); artist, writer, filmmaker and performer Mason Branning; and actress and performer Melanie Nelson (Hallmark's "12 Gifts of Christmas").
On Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 9:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. MT/6:30 p.m. PT, Leon Logothetis embarks on his second kindness journey in the season two premiere of "The Kindness Diaries." Welcome to the adventure of a lifetime: a heartfelt, humor-filled and jeopardy-laced journey from Alaska to Argentina. Follow eternal optimist, passionate adventurer and former broker Leon Logothetis as he travels across the globe in a search for kindness.
On Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT/7 p.m. PT, "Welcome Home" premieres on BYUtv. Hosts Treger and Rob Strasberg and their team of designers and volunteers furnish and decorate modest living spaces for struggling families coming out of homelessness and abuse shelters. They involve the local community, using donations or gently used goods to make places the families can call home. Produced by Litton Entertainment (The CW's One Magnificent Morning), the show also airs on The CW.
