"SNL" Begins the Year With Two New Shows in January
NEW YORK - Jan. 7, 2019 - "Saturday Night Live" kicks off 2019 with two new shows in January.
Emmy and two-time Golden Globe Award winner Rachel Brosnahan will make her "Saturday Night Live" debut when she hosts the first telecast of the new year on Jan. 19. Brosnahan, who currently stars in the second season of Amazon Prime Video's "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," received a SAG nomination for the role.
Greta Van Fleet will make their debut as musical guest. The band recently received four 2019 Grammy Award nominations and their first full-length studio album, "Anthem of the Peaceful Army," debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Rock chart.
"SNL" will also have a live show on Jan. 26 with the host and music to be announced.
"Saturday Night Live" is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
