AMERICAN VANDAL (Netflix) - The streaming service has passed on a third season for the mockumentary comedy series. Producer CBS Television Studios is reportedly shopping the project elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
ARMISTEAD MAUPIN'S TALES OF THE CITY (Netflix) - Victor Garber is the latest bound for the revival series as Sam Garland, "a handsome English gentleman who spends his days reading old books to Anna (Olympia Dukakis)." (Deadline.com)
AT THAT AGE (NBC, New!) - Writer/director Malcolm D. Lee (Night School) has scored a put pilot commitment from the Peacock for a potential drama billed as "an exploration of a Harlem family's legacy. After the Cooper family's golden child suffers a catastrophic event, seven family members face a foundational shift, make life-altering decisions and deal with deep secrets coming to light." Universal Television is behind the hour with Nikki Reed also serving an executive producer. (THR.com)
CHARMED (The CW) - Aleyse Shannon and Constantine Rousouli are both slated to recur on the reboot series. She'll play Jada Shields: "Independent and fierce, Jada Shields knows what she wants and how to get it. She's openly gay and grabs Mel's attention after flirting with her at a bar. Despite her forthrightness, Jada remains a mystery, one Mel is determined to solve." Rousouli then is set as Hunter, "a handsome man who wears a tailored suit well but also has considerable powers of imitation and concealment. That combination makes him an unstoppable, extremely powerful enforcer." (Deadline.com, THR.com)
COBRA KAI (YouTube) - Peyton List is set for a recurring role on the show's second season as Tory, "a troubled teen who is new to the Valley." (Deadline.com)

LETHAL WEAPON (FOX) - Nishi Munshi is set to recur on the current season as the "new Deputy DA, Erica Malick, who begins working with Robbery/Homicide, building cases against high profile criminals. LOUDEST VOICE IN THE ROOM, THE (Showtime) - Aleksa Palladino has been cast in the pay channel's Russell Crowe-led Roger Ailes limited series as Judy, "Ailes' longtime assistant and confidante who follows him from NBC News to Fox News Channel." (Deadline.com)
MAJOR (NBC, New!) - Writer/director Todd Graff (Joyful Noise) has booked a potential drama at the Peacock "set at the most competitive and prestigious university dance department in the country. SWAMP THING (DC) - Jeryl Prescott has been tapped to play Madame Xanadu on the upcoming DC Universe series. (@TheDCUniverse)
TRADER (HBO, New!) - Tika Sumpter is attached to star in a potential drama at the pay channel described as "a contemporary re-imagining of the Robin Hood saga told through the perspective of a half-Nigerian and half-Black American female, Adefolke Girabaldi (Sumpter), an investing wunderkind and trading forecast prodigy on Wall Street. As an activist short seller, Adefolke will wield her billion-dollar hedge fund as a sword to eviscerate predatory corporations that exploit the poor, all while navigating the unscrupulous world of the Girabaldi family who are the center of New York City's black aristocracy where money, privilege, and racism intersect in sometimes insidious ways." Sonya Winton and Jonathan Kidd are penning the hour with Sumpter and her manager, Emily Gerson Saines, likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ANISTON & WITHERSPOON PROJECT (Apple) - Nestor Carbonell and Mark Duplass are the latest additions to the Reese Witherspoon/Jennifer Aniston-led series. The former will play Yanko Flores, "the charming weatherman who has an artist's soul and thinks meteorology is poetry"; while the latter is set as Chip Black, "the show's executive producer." Steve Carell, Billy Crudup and Gugu Mbatha-Raw also star. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED GAEL GARCIA BERNAL PROJECT (Showtime, New!) - Gael García Bernal is attached to star in a new drama for the pay channel which "centers on a Mexican-American family man living undocumented in the United States. When his wife is detained by ICE, desperate and resourceful undocumented immigrant Marco (Bernal) assumes the identity of an immigration officer to rescue her." Jonás Cuarón is penning the hour, which has a pilot commitment, with Sam Baum, Karla Cornejo Villavicencio, Brad Weston, Pam Abdy and Scott Nemes also on board to executive produce via Makeready. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED RACHNA FRUCHBOM PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Rachna Fruchbom has set up a potential single-camera comedy at the Alphabet about "a confident but prolifically apologetic, newly single stay-at-home mom who decides at 37 to start at the bottom and work her way up to her dream job, where her eccentric co-workers help her stop apologizing and become the person she's meant to be." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the project, which has a penalty attached. 3 Arts Entertainment's Dave King and Oly Obst will also executive produce.
